OT: The Official Coronavirus thread - Be well, be safe

So my mom works at a hospital and said they had a patient come in 6 days ago. The man is in his 60's and came in feeling weak, lethargic, and with a fever. On his charts, it stated he was weak and in a confused state, so my mom and her coworkers cared for him not knowing what was going on. The man was treated for 2 days in general population before someone said he was complaining of shortness of breath, but still nothing was done. It wasn't till he literally vomited on one of the workers did one of the doctors say that he should get tested for the Corona. Sure enough, he tested positive yesterday.

The hospital literally had all signs they could need to isolate him and didn't till exposing many others. The workers weren't pulled from work till just yesterday. So who knows how many people that came into contact with him also came into contact with others. The way this virus is being handled is a disgrace on so many levels.

How about the China travel restrictions, and now the Europe one. He was smart and right about those and he was BLASTED as xenophobic for the Chinese one. But he was right, right? Liberals bitch and moan about not being politically correct while there is a **** pandemic going on.

Hell, Wingo is out there bug chasing to prove how virtuous he is and how "racist" the "other" side is while the world burns and he carries around the seeds of destruction.

How's open borders sound now? Even Trudeau has suddenly discovered reason and logic and closed his. A nation needs to reserve it's right to meter immigration for lots of reasons, this is just one of them.

Don't throw me in with those tards! I'm more classical liberal/libertarian than anything. But there was a lot of complaining going on when Trump instituted the China restrictions. You still see that idiotic two-faced political correctness going on currently with liberal media complaining "Republicans" are calling it the Wuhan Virus and how that's supposed to be some sort of racist dog whistle. Trump called it the Chinese Virus and hell broke loose with the PC crowd. Well there are dozens of examples of liberal media calling it the Wuhan Virus before turning around and calling it racist. Besides that, it's entirely normal to name it from where it first was discovered to be prevalent. Ever hear of German Measles? How about the Spanish flu?
