Amazed that we actually beat the Kings, they’ve owned us for years.

Isaac is hurt apparently but Little stepped up admirably. However, my team is riding off into the sunset on a garbage/rebuilding season so they thought why not help a team they've big brother'd the last few years
Playoffs should be really interesting this year!

Crazy thing is, they could easily be a top 3 seed in the west with AD, PG13 and Trae. Their current seeding is one of those sim mysteries I don’t understand; yet I’m likely to see them in the first round if you don’t get your act together

bishnykfan wrote:ANNOUNCEMENT
After many hours of deliberation and more PM's than I would like to count, BaF is announcing that Context has been suspended for the remainder of the season. He will no longer be in control of Detroit for his teams final 14 games. He will be able to resume control of his team when the new league season resumes in the offseason.
Also, Context has been indefinitely suspended from the discussion thread. I enjoy BaF and spend many hours each week trying to provide a fun competition for 30 people I don't know. I love basketball and love competition. For me, the best part of this game is the discussion and back and forth that happens in that thread. I enjoy the back and forth and hearing different peoples opinions on players. For 2+ years the discussion thread has been a free for all, unmoderated by our board mods, mostly because they are also participants in the game and don't want there to be any conflict of interest within the game. I let anything go in that thread and it has devolved into little basketball/BaF talk. Now it is more personal attacks which hijack the thread and turn off a majority of the other GMs limiting participation. That will no longer be tolerated by anyone. Keep the talk in the discussion thread basketball/BaF related. Anyone who attacks another poster on a personal level in that thread will face discipline from the league up to and including suspensions or removal from the game. Can't believe I have to say this with everything that is going on now but please keep it to basketball, that is why we're all here.
There will also be no more spamming the mods with PM's if you have a problem with another GM. Our mods in this game want to play and not step into every ridiculous and juvenile disagreement between rival GMs. Any GM who has an issue with another GM can bring that issue to me.
Finally, no one is permitted to share or post other GMs private communications on the public forum. All PM's are considered privileged and confidential and can not be shared with other GMs. Anyone breaking this confidentiality will be immediately suspended. Teams need to be able to hold negotiations and have the ability to communicate with other GMs without the thought that their communications are being shared. It causes to many bad feelings and causes harm to the game.
In conclusion, Context is suspended until the end of the season (the final 14 games of the 2019-20 season). He will return to his GM duties at the beginning of the next league year in June. He will no longer be allowed to participate in the discussion thread. This is an indefinite suspension due to his role in the many childish fights with multiple other GMs over the past few months which derailed that thread. He also will no longer be allowed to go to the mods with BaF problems. And finally, he will not be allowed to post private communication from other GMs. Context has agreed to all of these stipulations in order for him to remain the GM of the Pistons, remain in the game and continue to build his franchise. He is also aware that this is a final warning for him. There will be no more second chances moving forward.
With everything going on in the world right now, my mind has not been as focused on BaF as it usually is. This should be a fun competitive experience for all. Play the game and leave the rest alone. I'm too tired to be dealing with nonsense.
Bish. You are an absolutely amazing Commish. Genuinely feel like you'd be better than Goodell for the NFL.

Re: Build a Franchise Discussion- Season 3
Manhattan Project Mock Draft Lottery 1.0
Some of the picks might be off, some of the language is hard to follow after all the swaps. Deal with it.
The Spurs and Pistons are going to create havoc come draft time.
1. San Antonio Spurs (6-61) Anthony Edwards
The Spurs need talent period, but most of all they need someone to be able to score the ball. While not a polished prospect, he has the highest upside scoring wise.
2. Detroit Pistons (6-60) James Wiseman
The Pistons have some talent in Robinson, Herro and Rui, they will need a floor general to lead them. However with a treasure trove of picks in this draft, they wait and take Wiseman who could potentially be a dominant scorer for them.
3. Los Angeles Lakers (8-58) Obi Toppen
Armed with back to back picks here, the Lakers first address the power forward position with Toppen. He will bring some scoring and form a nice duo with last years first round pick Garland.
4. Washington Wizards (12-55) ---> Lakers - Deni Avdija
Deni is a smart team player and will round out the starting five for the Lakers. He can score, facilitate and grab some boards. Deni and Obi give the Lakers two nice young forwards to build around going forward.
5. Houston Rockets (21-46) LaMelo Ball
With no clear cut obvious choice for the Rockets, they swing for the fences and grab possibly the highest potential player in the draft. He'll immediately come in and run with Hunter and Langford in the second unit as the Rockets can be patient as he develops.
6. Memphis Grizzlies (27-40) ---> Spurs - Onyeka Okongwu
The Spurs are a little light up front, so they add Okongwu. He'll immediately bring some rim protection, he's a bully who excels in the pick and roll game. He should be able to push Bamba for playing time right off the bat.
7. Sacramento Kings (28-40) ---> Pistons - Tyrese Haliburton
After taking Wiseman with their first pick, the Pistons address the PG position with Haliburton. The Pistons can be patient with him as he develops his game, but he will always be a team first point guard which they need.
8. Cleveland Cavaliers (28-38) ---> Pistons - Issac Okoro
The Pistons continue to stack talent in this draft. This time they add Okoro who brings some defensive intensity that they can use. He's a good slasher, plays within himself and brings the intensity every minute he's on the court.
9. Milwaukee Bucks (30-37) ---> Spurs - Cole Anthony
Much like the Edwards selection, the Spurs need people who can score the ball. After beefing up the front court with the Okongwu selection, they need a point guard who can push the ball. The Spurs have tried the Frank experiment as a starter, but it might be time to move on.
10. New York Knicks (31-36) ---> Spurs - Vernon Carey
With yet another selection, the Spurs take Carey with this selection. He's crafty with the ball in his hands, has the ability to stretch the floor and brings some much needed size to the team.
11. Toronto Raptors (31-35) ---> Suns - Killian Hayes
Chris Paul is getting up there in age and Pat Beverly is not the long term answer either. The Suns take Hayes are their able to be patient with him as his game develops.
12. Orlando Magic (32-35) ---> Spurs - Jaden McDaniels
Somehow with their fifth pick of the lottery already the Spurs decide to roll the dice on some long term potential. McDaniels is athletic, can grab some boards and offers some defensive upside. He'll ride the bench for a bit, but at this point he brings some tantalizing potential.
13. Phoenix Suns (33-35) ---> Raptors --> Pistons - RJ Hampton
After already taking a center, small forward and a point guard, the Pistons roll the dice on some long term potential in Hampton. He's a combo guard but he excels at getting to the charity stripe. Can form a dynamic duo with either Wiseman or Robinson off the bench.
14. New Orleans Pelicans (36-31) ---> Pistons - Isaiah Stewart
Not to be outdone by the Spurs, the Pistons are making their fifth selection of the lottery. The Pistons continue to add some size to their front court. He offers some long term upside as a defender, can offer some scoring around the rim.

Re: Build a Franchise Discussion- Season 3
I realized it doesn’t matter, give the Pistons and Spurs all the players. Trying to read through all the swaps, protections and swaps of swaps was insane. Y’all trying to kill Bish.
Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.

Crazy thing is, they could easily be a top 3 seed in the west with AD, PG13 and Trae. Their current seeding is one of those sim mysteries I don’t understand; yet I’m likely to see them in the first round if you don’t get your act together.
Would love to play against the worst Russell Westbrook build ever in playoffs

Lot's of close races in the east and west. Seeding and those last few spots are gonna come down to the wire.
Some good games tonight with all having playoff implications...wish we could stream them

Do you plan on resting any of your key players down the stretch?
