Well, I think this leaves a lot of issues, but most people working for larger companies can work just fine from home so this won't really interrupt their pay checks.
Not necessarily. The list would include companies like McDonald's, Walmart, Marriott, etc. Those people can't be at home and work the same, they also may only have part time work. The managerial class and office workers yes but not the regular workers. And if they get sick and have symptoms they can't be working, and some of these companies have just a couple of days sick leave if even that.

Need to just make it quick and easy to let them collect unemployment or something. I know servers are really hurting.

Im sure everyone is about to get like a 1000 dollar stimulus check but how far does that really get someone
The $1K It's a band aid for a gushing wound. Need to suspended mortgage, rent, utilities payments right now, not next week they have to do this now and sadly the administration is playing catch-up and in denial of the drastic steps they have to take immediately.

Most companies are small companies which would be willing to take a loan to keep employees on and the business afloat.

I think I'm infected. Different type of sore throat, dry cough, feeling weak...

I'm still lucky I have no fever probably due to my good immune system. This is my 4th day with symptoms and under home quarantine. Sore throat is getting better. Dry cough is subsiding. No more difficulty in breathing.

Good luck man, sounds like your symptoms could be subsiding. Hoping for the best for you!

88% of people have a fever who have the coronavirus. There is a cold going around that starts with a sore throat that progresses into a cough and tiredness.

Big problem is my in-laws listen to this crap, have been very bad about preparing for the month ahead, and now my wife and I have to help them out.

Fox News has no excuse now - none whatsoever. Of course they’ll sleaze, lie and forget their way out like always, but if their support base remains the same after all this hopefully recovers, then I give up.

I got no common cold or runny nose or any other issue with my nose so I believe this isn't the common cold I'm familiar with. Also experienced difficulty in breathing for few days due to that awful sore throat.

Might be human rhinovirus, which I am presently recovering from. I had no fever but difficulty breathing. The virus was detected from nasal swabs.

I mean cold as in a general sickness that's going around. The main symptom, when symptoms are present, in COVID-19 are fevers.

Well I hope so. I just want to get over with whatever this is, I'm still going to watch the NBA Finals, and I won't die right now.
