My 3rd overall prospect is looking good, I know a lot of people think GS might go center but Toppin is so much better and he fits their system.

My old school comp for Obi would be Bison Dele (Brian Williams), rather than Amare or CWebb.

He's better than Dele right now than Dele ever was. RIP as well.

How about comparing him to Blake Griffin at Oklahoma?

Hey everybody,

I just re-launched my NBA Draft comparison tool that finds the closest physical and statistical comparisons for any player in comparison to all drafted players from 2001-2019.

You can't find physical comparisons for the 2020 NBA Draft prospects yet as I wait for the official combine measurements to come out (if that happens).

To find statistical comparisons for the 2020 prospects, you have to provide the sports-reference.com url for the respective player on the stats page. Any sports-reference url will work.

For example:

The tool can be found here: https://nbadraftcomp.herokuapp.com/

Of course, any feedback or suggestions is always welcome here or if you want talk about the Draft with me you can dm me here or on Twitter at youngwizzydfs and I'll follow you back that works also.

Can you make this thing work with international players? eg. Abdoulaye N'doye ; https://www.basketball-reference.com/international/players/abdoulaye-ndoye-1.html

I probably could and it would be relatively easy. However, I wouldn't be sure that it would be fair to compare international numbers to college statistics.

Yeah, that would be a point. Restrict the DB search to just internationals vs internationals?

Yeah. However, I guess again the competition between each international league may be vastly different. Definitely something I can look into doing tho.

Edwards is in obviously, but i'mma try to keep track of any notable names that are going back to school

i do wonder what this means for the guys who were waiting for the combine to talk to teams about their status, they might not get that chance this year other than maybe private workouts if they happen

yeah i wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of bubble guys go back to school because the film isn't enough to get them drafted. You think Scottie declares?

i think he should, not sure what he has to gain by going back to school, although he would've killed combine workouts and interviews and that's not happening for him anyways

i dunno, maybe he goes back to school to declare with his boy Antoine next year, no idea, but the smart decision would be to declare IMO.

We sure he isn't declaring. There is going to be some sneaky stuff done by well prepared NBA teams this year.

Antoine played a total of 87 mins this year and didn't look good/healthy at all when he did, doubt he's coming out

I would love to hear the reasoning behind this. I would love to sold on this. I love what Cassius brought to Duke and was pleasantly surprised at just how well he completely bought into the team concept. But at best I see him mid 2nd round.
