This is every NBA fanfic writer’s wet dream. Think of the possibilities!

What do you do tho? Play one game at a time? Ira needs to discuss the logistics plan.

I would expect they’d use NY and have access to two arenas - Barclays and MSG. Then play double or triple headers each day. Get through 4-6 games per day easily that way, while limiting travel and exposure risk.

During this time it would be very difficult to isolate players/coaches/crew members away from their families, some players or families of the players may not be handling this situation very well and not being around their family members would be extremely rough.

Also, one key player getting the virus could really change everything for their particular team.

Just keep everyone at home. Could you imagine the backlash if the virus got to the nba players, spread through games and someone died because of it?

If it happens it will be some place no one goes and hardly populates. In the middle of nowhere in South or North Dakota, Idaho, Montana, or Alaska.

Build a temp arena full of windows and other ventilation systems. Jump shot accuracy will drop significantly but who cares at this point.

I mean, are people just not taking social distancing seriously or do so many people already have it that it’s unavoidable.

the worse that can happen to ppl all over the world eddie :(

i don't think i can enjoy watching NBA rn while having to worry about my job security, food, toilet paper and all that going on at super stressful level. we can't even go to a dentist for cleaning/check up because it's considered a non-essential visit. i surely couldn't focus on Heat's last game because I was getting stressed out about this stuff, and then of course Gobert incident happened like clockwork, and op proceeds to lose to the Wizards smh
