People talk how they talk. Not sure why you're judging how she talks, she's from a different part of the country than you. Lived a different life than you. You don't like it, whatever. But you're not better than she. Know that.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say Motown is better than Cardi B.

Chances are Motown has never admitted to drugging men and robbing them

Motown is a good dude but do we really need to make fun of how people talk??

Gotcha
GOP is taking lead on it, but both parties seem to want to prevent that. Also if married it's 150k household. If you have kid it goes up.

It phases out between $75k-99k for singles & $150-$198k for married filing jointly.

I also read about potentiall $500/kid without indication whether that also phases out. The other thing that's a bit of a point of contention is that if you earned nothing on a 2018 or 2019 tax return, you're capped at $600.

You guys are going to get this thread locked again over nonsense. It would be great to move back on topic.

Do an inventory of everyone's bank account...if you have more than $20K in the bank you don't get anything

I wouldnt make fun of someone with a speech disorder, my son is actually very slow with speech.

This however is intentional to sound cool and i just think it sounds dumb at that type of extreme level.

How do they possibly prove that?? My work gave stay home orders today. So would I qualify??

No I mean like how can the government reliably determine that lol.

No clue. I wouldn't complain but I think it'd be so silly if I was paid because I qualified even though I'm still working.

Not really, Obama gave me 600 dollars in stimulus back when i had a real nice job. The thought behind it would be people are gonna use it to help jumpstart the economy.

Just gonna take too long, but it's too bad you couldn't tailor these payments accurately. If I spend money just on rent and food, I could probably make it to around five months on my savings. I feel pretty good, but I'd be a lot more confident if I had, say, a year. Just because we simply have no idea how this whole thing is going to play out. I don't know much about the Spanish Flu outbreak, but we survived that, so we should be able to survive this. But it's only starting, and we just don't know.

That said, I don't feel like I'm gonna need that money immediately -- I also have some investments I can sell off, which is the absolute last option but at least I have it -- so somebody else should absolutely get whatever my share might be. There are a lot of people who are going to be in dire need of any help they can get -- more than we can probably comprehend right now, before it really takes hold -- and it's just a shame we couldn't quickly, efficiently, fairly get those people their money.

Only 10% are younger than 60

Average age of the infected in Italy 63. In China it's 46.

dirk, I think this is one of the reasons why in other country there seem to be far fewer deaths

I'm sure that some country count for CFR ONLY death BY Covid-19 and not WITH Covid-19... instead despite having several other pathologies the Covid-19 is THE catalyst
