I don't think three guys fit them and their needs better. Odom can handle the ball for when Bron needs a rest, rebound for AD, he can switch on D like a Bosh which makes them great defensively, and in modern times he could probably play the center spot against everyone but Embid and Joker. Cooper is a swiss army knife who can pass, shoot, defend, rebound, and does not need the ball so he would be in constant motion and filling lanes for them. And Fisher is the definition of clutch as he hits big shots, can defend 2s, in this day and age probably gets up 15 a night on a title team since he was a third option on the Kobe/Shaq teams and didn't really chuck, and he can rally the troops with his voice.'

My honorable mention is Rick Fox because really he is a perfect stretch 4 now, could shadow the hell out of shooters just ask Peja, and he didn't mind getting dirty and sticking up for people as the bad guy.

Odom would be awesome and perfect if the games happened in 2008. But the past 5 years or so, players who can shoot the 3 are better suited and I'm not sure there will be adequate floor spacing when both Odom and AD are on the floor. And yes, I selected Mychal Thompson for AD's frontline mate and he's not a 3pt shooter but IMO, he is better from within 18 feet. He is not a great ball handler like Lamar but he is stronger too. I feel like Fisher can handle the ball too.

Odom shoots better than Javale, Kuzma, or Dwight do. I think they could easily hit it off especially when you remember how he played off a playmaking big like Cousins before.

I posted this question to the Mason and Ireland show yesterday via twitter and they pondered about their answer for like 5 minutes. Ireland had a hard time at first after realizing he couldn't say popular answers like Pau and McAdoo bec they are "all-stars".
He eventually said, he'll pick Odom bec of his versatility, Horry and Fisher bec of their ability to shoot during crunch time. I love Horry during playoffs but he frustrated me so much during regular seasons when I felt he at times coasts.
Mason picked Byron Scott, Fisher and Cooper. A great small ball team but I am not sure they have enough floor balance and low post defense.

I think I would go with this also. I’d love to get Ariza in there Next to lebron and AD, but he doesn’t top either Scott or Coop on D IMO.
