Then he wins another 3 championships with Scott Pippen.

They would have eventually lost to the Pacers. Miller and crew almost beat the Bulls in their last title run. They may have won one more but after that they would have lost

Depends on if Phil Jackson, Pippen and Rodman were still on the Bulls with him. If not, it wouldn't have been pretty.

Does he still slice his hand open? 1999 would have been a write-off and I don't see a 37-year old Jordan making a tonne of noise.

Wasn't the Bulls FO like "this is the last year no matter what"?

They didn't want to pay MJ.

My guess is he would've somehow went to Charlotte and played a couple of years on a lower seed playoff team.

I think the Nets or Knicks would be an option too.

The Bulls core was going to be dismantled. Phil Jackson was also leaving. Everyone knew it. So it doesn't really matter if Jordan stayed or not, the Bulls were done.

8 straight titles if he didn't retire the first time though.

Even if they had ran it back, I still think '98 was their last hurrah. That was by far the most vulnerable they had looked during a title defense, they barely survived the Pacers in 7, then needed one of the greatest performances of Jordan's career to barely get by the Jazz. Could they have won in '99? I'm not ruling it out. Would I pick them to get through the Heat/Pacers/Knicks then Duncan & Robinson in the Finals? I honestly wouldn't

Considering how much MJ hated Jerry Krause, he would have played for another team, and everyone in the NBA would want him, and considering you don't need much talent (offensively you only need Luc Longley, Ron Harper and Dennis Rodman on your starting 5) to win a ring with MJ he could easily have won 3 more rings.

Jordan is a fraud that was made by Scottie Pippen, right?

Steve Kerr said they would have never won 8 in a row , it was too taxing. Also Jordan was back in 1995 and they lost anyway so I tend to agree with that.

Also I've read where if Jordan had come back in 1999, they would have kept the band together. Everyone pretty much agreed with that.
