Hard to say. The mavs are the easy answer, but their road to the title might be the most impressive.

Oh look, another (poorly) disguised attempt to discredit the Raptors’ championship. Nothing to see here, move along now.

Re: Worst Championship Team Since 2007?
lol at the Mavs votes.
They went through three teams with multiple All NBA player and one team with a single one.
Dirk not even had an allstar teammate that year. Talk about a harder road to the title. people still dont get what a machine this team was. Without Dirks injury (they went 2-7) they end up easily with 62+ wins in the RS. it wasnt just a hot postseason streak
2010-11
FIRST TEAM
F: Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder
F: LeBron James, Miami Heat
C: Dwight Howard, Orlando Magic
G: Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers
G: Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls
SECOND TEAM
F: Pau Gasol, Los Angeles Lakers
F: Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas Mavericks
C: Amar'e Stoudemire, New York Knicks
G: Dwyane Wade, Miami Heat
G: Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City Thunder
THIRD TEAM
F: LaMarcus Aldridge, Portland Trail Blazers
F: Zach Randolph, Memphis Grizzlies
C: Al Horford, Atlanta Hawks
G: Manu Ginobili, San Antonio Spurs
G: Chris Paul, New Orleans Hornets

Re: Worst Championship Team Since 2007?
The cases for/against each team below
07 Spurs - one of the best teams in the regular season and clearly the best in the post season. Definitely not them.
08 Celtics - almost lost R1 against a bad team and almost lost in R2 against a good but not great Cavs team. But they were best team in regular season and won it all. Probably not them.
10 Lakers - one of the best teams in the regular season and ran an easier than average Western Conference to get to the finals. The Celtics were probably the weakest opponent listed (except 07 Cavs) and they barely squeaked by them. I think the team was really darn good but I don't necessarily think they were playing their best ball towards the end but it still didnt matter. Probably not them.
11 Mavericks - 4th best regular season record, and on paper probably the weakest roster because it was basically Dirk + really good role players. But they played beautifully as a team and stomped through the playoffs. 'On paper' maybe them, but in reality definitely not. I think they would beat most of the other teams in a Bo7 listed here.
15 Warriors - best team in the regular season that year by far, and better than any other team listed here. Dominated in the playoffs. I have literally no idea why this teams listed with everyone else. They are definitely the best team on this list.
2019 Raptors almost lost R2 and almost certainly would have lost to the Warriors at full strength. To me I think this is clearly them. But props to them for stepping up big in the post season.
If I had to rank them best to worst
1. 15 Warriors
2. 07 Spurs
3. 11 Mavericks
4. 08 Celtics
5. 10 Lakers
6. 19 Raptors

2007 Spurs for me. If the league didn't fix it for them, the Suns would have won it that year. Any title team since 2008+ would have easily beaten that Spurs team.
Lmao what a weak take. That's why Phoenix couldn't even push it to 7 games right? Quit making excuses
Really? You can't think of any controversial reason why Phoenix didn't get to a home game 7?
Cry me a river. They had their team at full strength for game 6 while Horry was still out (people forget how good/important he was for SA) and they still couldn't even push the series to 7? Weak excuse dude. If they were soooo much better than SA they would have beaten them in Game 6 and forced a Game 7.
It's beyond dumb to insinuate the league "fixed" the series for SA. Spurs were ratings poison at that time. You really think Stern wanted boring SA in the Finals AGAIN instead of the high powered Suns? Give me a break. And please spare me the ramblings of the disgraced ref.
This is the one season where Spurs had their big 3 as close to all being in their prime ever. There's no way they belong on this list

The 10 Lakers beat 4 50 win teams in the postseason, don't think many others have done that.

A lot of hilariously bad takes in this thread, not just directed towards the 2019 Raptors, but in general. People just love to put their (lack of) intellect on display. Always good for a laugh. Thanks.

Honestly... apparently KD being injured makes the Raptors a worse team than they actually were. And don't forget, beating an incredibly talented Philly team in 7 games in the 2nd round also makes the Raptors a bad team.

I think the 2010 Celtics are being overlooked when people are saying the 10 Lakers had easy opponents. They played the Thunder, Jazz and Suns before the Finals and all of those teams won 50. The Suns were really good as Stoudemire was in his prime.
I thought the 2010 Celtics were better than 2008. It was essentially the same team with slightly worse Garnett but superstar Rondo.

You could argue the other way that they won without being a good team through will, strategy and chemistry. thats pretty cool too

Because getting beat down 3 out of 4 years and winning due to a Draymond Green suspension isn't relevant apparently.

This post makes no sense. Kyrie, who kinda played a big role in that title, missed 5/6 games in 2015 and was off the team by 2018. Those series have no bearing on the '16 Cavs

Yeah you're right Kyrie was the difference between winning and losing. Had nothing to do with prime Lebron.

Ya ok buddy that's why the team is on pace for 60 wins the next season without their mvp.
You sound like a freak of nature and a mental patient that's dumb as a rock and takes ESPN hot takes as facts

I'd say the guy who led both teams in every statistical category had something to do with it. He also had something to do with ending the Raps season 3 years in a row

LOL
The first finals was impossible to win. Taking 2 games off the Warriors with a completely depleted roster was an amazing achievement. We probably win that series if 2 of our 3 best players didnt miss it. Maybe we win, maybe we dont - that Warriors team was unbelievably good. But we had a good chance. The 2015 Warriors were the second luckiest finals team in NBA history, trailing only the 2019 Raptors.
The second series we won because we overall outplayed them over 7 games. You cant excuse it as fake because Draymond was kicking players in the nuts over and over in the postseason and finally hit the technical foul limit. Thats no difference than making a bone head play losing your team a game. Its not like Dray suddenly got injured. He played with fire and rightfully got burned. The game he missed we still won by 15 and they still had 2 more to close it out and didn't.
2017 Warriors were an all time team and would have comfortably won the finals against any team of the last 15 years.
2018 Cavs sucked and had no business making the finals but the east sucked. Celtics were injured and the Raptors were a fake 1 seed that got exposed in hilarious fashion.

2007 was most dull but that Spurs team was really good. 2010 sucked too. Boring basketball.
Most fortunate team is not the same as the worst team.
The Raptors were undeniably fortunate to have the Warriors succumb to injuries, but that doesn't mean that the Raps were not an amazing team and/or didn't deserve to win. They had a very challenging run to just make it to the Finals.
In any event...this poll is ridiculous. No team that won it all should be up for a debate of who's the worst.
I agree. Some titles are more memorable/exciting than others but no team can be criticised for winning an NBA championship. The Raps deserve massive kudos for winning last year like all the champs before them.

The ball IQ on this forum is very questionable. Anyone saying the Raps are the worst team on that list are ESPN level dumb.
The 15 Warriors better than the 19 Rap? Lol
It took them 6 games to beat Delly/JR/Lebron/TT/Mozgov...yeah such an impressive victory
