He had a good 2017 60 plus catches 800 plus yards 8 tds not bad only 25 would be cool if he could reproduce 17 here at 6'4 he should be a good red zone guy

He's a pass rusher and he'll be used as a pass rusher moving forward. The reality is they were abnormally healthy last year with none of the Smith's or Fackrell missing any time. With Fackrell gone there will be plenty of snaps for Gary with how they move guys around.

He absolutely needs to produce this season but I'm not holding his circumstances last year against him.

Free-agent receiver Devin Funchess agreed to a deal with the Green Bay Packers, sources confirmed to ESPN on Thursday.

Funchess' first season with the Indianapolis Colts lasted less than a full game after he suffered a clavicle injury in the Week 1 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Colts hoped Funchess would return from injured reserve later in the season, but the injury never healed properly for the fifth-year player.

The Colts signed Funchess, 25, to a one-year, $10 million contract with the belief his 6-foot-4 frame would help quarterback Jacoby Brissett.

Before joining the Colts, Funchess entered the 2018 season as the No. 1 receiver for the Carolina Panthers, who drafted him in the second round in 2015. But his role decreased dramatically because of dropped passes and a nagging back issue.

Funchess has 164 receptions for 2,265 yards and 21 touchdowns in his career.

Theres good and bad to that. Funchess stepped up and became a monster wr1 for a handful of games that year. Kelvin Benjamin went down for the 1st time I believe this season so the good is Funchess filled in nicely with a few monster games.

The bad is throughout Funchess entire career, it’s all mediocre to below average mustard **** and a few monster games.

He was a high draft pick so there’s obvious talent, I don’t hate it although He wasn’t my top choice even now after the FA pool is mud. I wouldve preferred Demarcus Robinson as a speed threat to take the top off rather than a big body possession guy but who knows. It’s not the worst signing and I’m going to hold out hope he’s cheap and can feast in the red zone with Rodgers. Plus I like the idea mentioned as a TE option, Funchess certainly doesn’t lack in the physically measurable category.

1.) If I saw a highlight reel of a someone like this we are drafting, I would be ecstatic. I wanted to draft him out of Michigan or Landon Collins in that draft.

Is that possible outside adams who by no means is a burner i agree need to change that in the draft need a super quick slot guy like mims or reagor
