People need to rise up already. How many decades are we going to continue to be complacent and ignore the truth of the matter. Our government.. every fkking side of the aisle is corrupt. They need to be forcibly removed. All of them. There is strength in numbers.. but no.. we'd rather take part in rigged elections and protest. Enough is enough already. What are we waiting for and why are we afraid???

I haven't caught up today, but the little I saw indicated I anticipated what happens next.

The Dems did block Trump and the Senate from getting personal bailouts directly, but it sounds like there is still what amounts to a slush fund.

That means what I predicted is about to happen. Trump will cut $50M bailout checks for every company that donates $5-10M to his campaign.

I don't have the full deets yet, but I'm expecting some kind of fuqqery like this

I predict a mini-exodus from the big metropolis'.

The middle of the country is wide open. Come on out to New Mexico.. we have plenty of space.

Cool story.. When I used to have a facebook page I found a childhood friend I grew up with from Sunset Park. We used to skateboard together when we were kids. He and his wife were art teachers at parsons. Well he taught himself to play several instruments. Quit teaching and started making folk music. At this point he left Brooklyn and was living in Rochester and touring. I lined him up with a gig out here in Santa Fe. They liked New Mexico so much they bought a house in a little artsy town called Truth or Consequences. Got the house dirt cheap.. he remodeled it himself. That's home for him now. I haven't spoke to him yet but we both still have families in Brooklyn. Wonder how he's feeling. They have some great hot springs down there.. thinking of a little road trip down there since I have some unexpected time off.
