I've discovered that I'm not a good cook and that it is extremely stressful. Attempted to make some Tom Kha soup - it was okayish. It was missing something. I just don't know what it was - maybe not enough fish sauce or the fish sauce was wack. F if I know.

Tonight I'm attempting to make some chicken verde. If you guys have any easy/simple recipes that a novice cook who lacks skills can try I'd appreciate it.

I'd say the most reliable skill to develop is learning how to saute onions. Use that as the base for many of your dishes and layer in flavors from there.

Yeah. Rick was from the states. He volunteered during the Vietnam War to keep him out of combat duty but they screwed him and he went to Canada where he hooked up with Neil. Then they signed with Motown but got screwed over by their manager who spent all the band's money. Neil and Mynah bassist Bruce Palmer drove out to California where they ran into Stills and Furay and that's how they started Buffalo Springfield.

And Rick went on to become Rick James, biatch.

Anyone here recently use prednisone steroid pack? I just finished up today but I woke up with a massive headache after a few days of an upset stomach. These are side effects of the drug but also of this freaking virus. :noway:

Thailand’s playboy king has taken over a luxury German hotel to isolate from the coronavirus — along with a harem of 20 women, according to reports.

King Maha Vajiralongkorn, 67, reportedly booked the entire Grand Hotel Sonnenbichl with “special permission” to break the lockdown in the Alpine resort town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the Independent said, quoting German media.

But rather than isolate, he moved in a harem of 20 concubines along with a team of servants, the UK paper said, citing German tabloid Bild.

The king, widely known as Rama X, planned an even bigger party — but 119 members of his entourage were forced to return to Thailand amid fears they had the potentially deadly bug, the report said.
