NY, NJ and CT have coordinated an 8:00pm-5:00am curfew in all three states. Non essential businesses must close by 8pm.

Gyms, movie theaters, restaurants that do not offer take out or delivery, bars, nightclubs are all closed indefinitely.

My job has me working from home indefinitely. People seem to think that this will all blow over in two weeks, but without access to testing there are probably hundreds of people running around right now who are infected and have no clue or aren't seeking medical treatment for whatever reason (like undocumented people may be scared to go to a hospital because of ICE). We are nowhere near the middle of this.

This is going to get bad and even more draconian measures will probably be taken if people do not heed the warnings and stay at home, I'm thinking all businesses outside of supermarkets/pharmacies/liquor stores will be closed sooner than later. Unless I have to go buy food or supplies, I'm staying in the house.

I think there is something much bigger going on behind the scenes. I don't know why I get the feeling but it's been on my mind for sometime. Does anybody think martial law will be in affect soon? what about the "mark of the beast"?

Martial Law won't have to be in affect if everyone stays home, isolates themselves socially and washes their hands. Only go outside for work, food, water, or supplies and make sure to be vigilant.

The only thing much bigger is the number of actual cases that already exist. There's likely many thousands in the US that are positive, but not ill enough to warrant testing. We know so far at least 4 NBA players have tested positive and have exhibited no symptoms yet, and one Net has tested positive and only reported some aches and pains. It's a certainty that there's orders of magnitude more people in a similar circumstance.

Conversely, it also indicates that the fatality rate is much lower than calculated, because only those with the most severe cases/symptoms are tested.

Unfortunately that won't happen, ppl will still go outside and look for some trouble to get into. Do you think martial law will be in affect then?

You have to figure these guys are already about a week or more in. The Nets likely caught it before the returned home on Thursday. They were tested Saturday.

Honestly I think we need a real quarantine up here. We're half a$$ing this. I still have to work, but yesterday I was driving by Prospect Park on Parkside Ave. and there was a ZOO of ppl still out and about having fun in the park walking side by side like nothing is happening. What kind of social distancing is this ? We need to bring national guard in here and make sure everybody stay in their house for atleast 3 weeks. I don't see any other way. Unfortunately I can see a few morons will try to fight the national guard or police and that will lead to ppl being put down. This thing is spreading like wild fire in NYC , specifically in Queens & Brooklyn.

Yup this is madness. Can't believe we live in most infected area in the world and people acting like it ain't shoot. I've been working to man. As a healthcare employee for over 15 years, I always seen people act reckless. It's always up until last moment when they start to think what they should've done before. At this point I just don't know.

Trump is only doing that because he's trying to make it look like he's "sticking it to" blue states whose governors have not been amused with his antics. He's trying to make it look like NY is the problem to try to take the attention off of his ineptitude. This will look foolish as the numbers in Louisiana and Florida continue to explode.

That being said, people are still not taking this seriously. In NY they need to close the parks down, and in NJ any large gatherings should be met with arrests.

You don’t think that’s breaking constitutional rights?

I’m sure there is a better way of handling this than arrests. It’s bad enough ICE is secretly raiding homes during the lockdowns in other states.

While I'm not in support of violating rights per say, the idiots that break self isolation and gather in large groups are putting the safety of not only their friends and family at risk, but healthcare professionals who most likely will have to come in contact with them. We're in a time of national crisis, I don't think people who act like this is a joke should be treated lightly. If not arrest, then definitely a substantial fine is in order. These people are a threat to public safety, do you think they shouldn't be treated harshly?

If I'm being honest, some folks need a slap upside the head for being ass holes. I can't believe people are treating this like a party.

and ICE shouldn't be raiding homes period, especially now.

Windhorst is saying that we're going to trade young players for a 3rd star

The Brooklyn Nets are expected to continue to reshape their roster around Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

"I believe they have telegraphed they intend to use some of their young talent to acquire a third star along with Kyrie and Durant," said Brian Windhorst. "Now, we can get enter a healthy debate here about whether Caris LeVert is that third star and they make the decision that he is. But my feel reading the tea leaves, paying attention to what Sean Marks has said and also being aware of some conversations they had at the trade deadline, which was sticking the toe in the water on some things, I think they're going to swing for the fences whenever the season comes. They're going to have to potentially hire a coach that is going to help them do that."

The Nets' two biggest trade chips are believed to be LeVert and Jarrett Allen, though Spencer Dinwiddie could be another player they can trade to acquire a third star. Dinwiddie has been a solid backup for Irving, who has also filled in due to injuries.

Bradley Beal and Jrue Holiday are two players mentioned by Windhorst as possible targets as they're a pair of players who could become available on the trade market.

I would prefer to keep Spencer. If we could land Jrue Holiday I think it's a championship level move.

I'd be good with either, but still prefer Beal.

Younger, better overall and although not the defender Jrue is, he's a good defender when he doesn't have to expend every drop of energy on offense like this season.

Also, during inevitable games of rest for KD and inevitable lingering injuries for Kyrie, he's preferable to carry more load as a 1-2 punch.

If it is Jrue though, I'd love if Favors comes back in the deal. Then chase Gallo with the MLE or in some sort of S&T.
