East:

Pacers vs Raptors: Doncic is here, just missing out on averaging a triple double. While the Raptors have a dynamic duo in LeBron and Boogie and their shooters might be able to steal a game, the Pacers simply have too much star power for the Raptors to overcome in a 7 game serious. This won't be your typical 1 vs 8 seed matchup, Pacers in 6.

Nets vs Cavs: Both teams with some serious offensive firepower, I just trust the Nets to be able to come up with more defensive stops. When the Cavs have to operate in the half court setting, they will be lacking where as the Nets can thrive in both transition and half court. Nets in 5

Heat vs Magic: The Magic might be fundamentally sound, but the Heat have to much offensive firepower to be stopped. Butler will have to waste too much energy to try and slow down Harden, so if you take them out of the equation it becomes Hayward and Gordon vs Harris, Murray and Ingles. Heat in 5.

Bulls vs Hawks: The reigning DPOY in Leonard takes on Curry in a star studded first round match, however the Bulls have a much more balanced team than the Hawks. While the shooting of Curry and Hield can steal a game, the Bulls are just a well oiled machine that won't lose a series here. Bulls in 6.

West:

Dallas vs LA Clippers
Props are in order for the Clippers for making the playoffs, but there running up against a juggernaut in Dallas. The Clippers simply won't have an answer for what the Mavs are bringing. I think we see our first sweep in the first round here, Dallas takes it home in 4 games.

Warriors vs Jazz
Funny how things change from the sim to 2K. All of a sudden Jokic is an All-NBA player, and ultimately fuels my homer pick. The Jazz have the size to combat the front court of Sabonis, Aldridge and Adams in Jokic, Thompson and Plumlee. Westbrook vs Russell becomes a fun matchup, with the slight nod going to Westbrook. These two teams are so evenly matched across it might come down to the sixth men battle, Williams vs Wiggins. Homer pick, Jazz win in a game 7 on the road.

Pelicans vs Blazers
Durant and Irving vs Davis, George and Young. Using my very limited math education (I went to public school after all) I can safely say that three is more than two. It an absolute offensive explosion, the Pelicans win in six. Depth is an issues for both of these teams and the Pelicans have the better balance of stars.

Nuggets vs Wolves
Two teams with depth for days, both teams lacking a true go to scorer. This will be an absolute battle that I could see every home team winning their respective games. It's hard to break down this series because game flow will dictate a lot of the rotations and riding of the hot hand, but I'll go with Nuggets in 7.

Very interesting in the East. So Philly, a top SIM team all year doesn't even make the playoffs in 2K. Neither does Boston. Yet Atlanta and Toronto gets in. And Cleveland is the 5th seed.

MP's prediction was on right on the money with Indiana/Toronto. Raptors gave the second most competitive series, no small feat against a top talented Pacers team.

Atlanta pulls off the major upset over Chicago. Curry/Hield backcourt is a major problem.

Other two East series were not competitive.
