Thanks for the quick reply. I just kinda have my hands in the air. Back to work early next week.

Honestly I question the validity of the test. Did I get one of those Chinese batch tests with a 30-40% false negative? Only way I could know now is to get an antibody test whenever those roll out.

Tough for me to say, it could have been the flu or it could have been Corona. Not sure what to make of it, they sort of mimic one another, or so we think. You were our lab rat, we were all watching you to find out more about this, now we need another volunteer. Anybody? Anybody? I didn't think so. As far as getting the Corona confirmation first, that makes sense to me. I'm sure its being prioritized right now. Also, not sad that you didn't already get this, we don't know how much permanent damage it does to the lungs yet. Some say a lot of scarring, but not sure.

60,000 of 70,000 tested in Florida were negative. So, 60k people thought they were sick enough to get tested. Apparently, there are still colds, Flu's and other virus's compounding the issue.

There were times I thought I was coming down with something. My minds playing tricks on me.

I didn't feel good yesterday and I believe it was just a stomach bug. It seems like I get a stomach once or twice a month. I always feel best in the Summer.

SOUL wrote:And as far as political posts in this thread go, as I've gotten a PM from someone I suspended, if you were warned PRIOR to the thread getting locked for 3 days and continued the discussion, you were given a 3 day, no matter what side you were on. There were in thread warnings and PM'd warnings that were defied, thus you get a 3 day.

Now, this is obviously one of the biggest events in our lives collectively, and we're affected by decisions the government makes, and because of that, this thread will always get political to a degree, so I don't mind there being political posts every now and then (whether in support of the administration or not), as long as there are practical/non-personal posts towards each other and obviously still discussion about the virus. Someone supporting or attacking Trump is not an attack on you personally. (Obviously, a person supporting someone who has implemented policies that hurt you is an indirect attack, but I digress!)

I will say that I don't understand people that need to run to the blind defense of any government like they're your family member. They really don't care about you. Left, right, they all say things that sound good but all of them sell you false hope. Trump is getting a lot of the blame because he is the current president of the country, and two, he's a jerk and brash. Who else is it going to go to? Are you going to blame T-Mac for the 2019-2020 Magic season? If Clinton or Biden were the president and they botched it badly, they would be getting reamed by the right and many on the left, and those defending someone doing such a poor job on the left would be just as hypocritical as those on the right defending every move Trump makes now. I do think there are some people in government that are well meaning and have done important work to try to help every American, but you can't please everyone. Not everyone wants help, not everyone makes the best decisions for themselves, we are our own worst enemy.

And lastly, the past 20 years there have been a lot of "If you don't like this country, leave!" sort of feelings among people that are patriotic and love the country and don't want to improve it. Cool. You can feel this country is perfect, but that's not the reality for many Americans, especially after watching how we've handled this virus so far, and how poorly things are currently going for many of us.

If you are thin skilled and can't handle the president being criticized from people on the right and the left, which is a freedom afforded to us that many country's citizens do not have, hey, maybe this country isn't for you!

I'm sure most of these posts are directed at me. So I'll reply. But I just find it funny that all I said was "lol at this thread" and everyone is all up in arms. Some people definitely are thin-skinned, but it sure isn't me.

Trust me, as a conservative, I have to have a thick skin to enjoy most forms of media now. The NBA, NFL, and MLB are all liberal and almost all shows and movies are as well. I love all the CW's DC shows and they cannot be any more SJW if they tried. Marvel heading in that direction as well and it doesn't really bother me.

Nothing from this thread bothers me. Was literally just laughing at the fact that some people are thinking of moving because of this virus and the handling of it even though it's a world issue and most places are mishandling the situation. Not sure where you would go to avoid this.

If I'm being real, this is just an excuse or a "free pass" at attacking the president for some. I see through it. Though some Libs here will certainly fight me on that point, but I've seen it and gone through this before. This is my only post on the matter as I already said I don't care what people say as long as it's civil and no one attacks me or conservatives as a whole. I just found it funny. Again, I'll only be here to read on actual informative posts like nymets1 update posts.

If you go back and read my 'political' post, I didn't target any political party really. My 'where can I move?' is not even politically motivated. Hell, I'm probably more conservative than you. I was basically saying 'where can I move to where people don't idolize immoral, egotistical people and actually have some sort of moral compass?'

Regardless of where you fall on supporting Trump, you cannot sanely argue that he is a man of God or morals. If you value his economic or immigration policies, cool. But don't tell me that he doesn't fall into the same boat that most of Hollywood falls in. Forget the politics. I'm talking about the person and the type of people that this country, and most of the world, idolizes. I find it disgusting and I can't believe that my Christian friends have their children believe that he's a great role model. It disgusts me as a Christian.

I actually don't like Trump the person either and never actually even voted for him. I don't think he's handled this situation the best either. But I also think he's done a fine job in general for this country outside of a few things here and there. Where I agree with most is that he could be doing better when it comes to this virus for sure.

As for the "moving to another country" thing, I never said you attacked anyone, just that it's weird timing to want to move short of going somewhere where there are literally no people within miles from each other. Because this isn't a US specific problem. It's a global problem. No one can escape this thing short of going into the woods and essentially "going off the grid."

A coworker of mine thought he had it. He couldn’t get tested based on age but was diagnosed with it based on symptoms. His symptoms worsened over the next couple days so they finally tested him ... Results = nothing; not even the flu.

He is a stubborn SOB and kept working. He was calling into meeting and looked like absolute death while coughing up a lung every 5 seconds. It wasn’t **nothing** it just wasn’t COVID-19.

Out of curiosity, what do you feel about yourself identifies as conservative, and what do you feel about sports league and other mediums has changed to become ideologically different to your take on the world?

Genuine question, it's not about leaders or parties, I'm just curious what beliefs you have that you feel make you a conservative at heart.

I'll keep it short since that's not what this whole thread is about and don't want to de-rail it.

But I believe that we need smaller government, less taxes on everyone, less worrying about peoples feelings when it comes to facts and just focus on logic. I'll leave it at that unless we open a thread about it because anything else that can be said would likely lead to debate.

It's weird how there are a lot of sick people that don't have COVID-19 that also don't get diagnosed with anything else. It's happened a lot since this thing has become an issue. I'm sure it's got to be because everything is crazy and incredibly busy and stressful for those in medical fields, but still.

I don’t buy some of these test results. There were reports that some tests suffered from inaccuracies.

I just hope the respiratory panel shows something. I didn't will myself to be sick for 9 days. I don't will a gallon of sweat a night in a 72 degree house with fans blazing. This was not a placebo sickness.

Last night's numbers as of 9pm from bing.com/covid

USA- 214,978 confirmed cases- 8878 recoveries, Recoveries went from 6913 to 8878
Florida- 7773 confirmed cases- Still have 0 Recoveries
Seminole county- 128 confirmed cases, Orange county- 458 confirmed cases

California- 9587 confirmed cases
Georgia- 4748 confirmed cases
Illinois- 6980 confirmed cases
Louisana- 6424 confirmed cases
Massachussets- 7738 confirmed cases
Michigan- 9334 confirmed cases
New Jersey- 22,255 confirmed cases
Pennsylvania- 5805 confirmed cases
Texas- 3997 confirmed cases
Washington- 6021 confirmed cases
New York- 83,948 confirmed cases

China- 2004 active cases left
South Korea- 5808 recoveries but still 3979 active cases
Italy-110,574 confirmed cases( 16,847 recovered but still 80,572 active cases)
Spain-104,118 confirmed cases( 22,647 recovered but still 72,084 active cases)

Things I noticed:

1. Big jump in USA recoveries from 6913 to 8878 and if things go well the USA can reach 10,000 recovered on Thursday.
2. California and Michigan are bound to reach 10,000 confirmed cases on Thursday
3. Hopefully Florida doesn't reach 10,000 confirmed cases
4. New York is bound to reach 100,000 confirmed cases on Friday
5. Florida still has 0 recoveries

Today's numbers as of 10pm from bing.com/covid

USA-244,646 confirmed cases( +27,075 increase), 10,403 recoveries(+1525 increase), 6059 deaths(+947 increase)
Florida- 9008 confirmed cases( +1235 increase), 0 recoveries still, 144 deaths(+27 increase)
California- 9937 confirmed cases
Georgia- 5444 confirmed cases( +696 increase),( Keep an eye on Georgia)
Illinois- 7695 confirmed cases( +715 increase), (Keep an eye on Illinois)
Louisana- 9150 confirmed cases( +2726 increase)
Massachussets- 8966 confirmed cases( +1288 increase)
Michigan- 10,791 confirmed cases( +1457 increase)
New Jersey- 25,590 confirmed cases( +3335 increase)
New York- 92,472 confirmed cases( +8559 increase)
Pennsylvania- 7016 confirmed cases(+1211 increase)
Texas- 4669 confirmed cases(+672 increase), (keep an eye on Texas)
Washington-6491 confirmed cases(+584 increase), (keep an eye on Washington)

China- 76,408 recoveries( +408 increase), down to 1863 active cases from 2004 last night
South Korea- 5828 recoveries(+21 increase)
Italy- 18,278 recoveries(+1431 increase), active cases- 83,049(+3237 increase)
Spain-26,743 recoveries( +4096 increase), active cases- 74,974(+3851 increase)

There's been a change made on bing.com/covid. When you click on a country, state or county it now shows a (+ increase) to the right of:

1.Active cases
2. Recovered cases
3.Deaths

If you look at my numbers I provided for the states of Georgia, Illinois, Texas and Washington, I wrote keep an eye on Georiga, keep an eye on Illinois, keep an eye on Texas and keep an Washington, Why?

Georgia's confirmed cases increased today by 696
Illinois confirmed cases increased today by 715
Texas confirmed cases increased by 672
Washington confirmed cases increased by 584

K so those are small increases by those 4 states which means we need to keep an eye on these 4 states to see if they have their peak. Those 4 states need more than 1 consecutive day of low increase in confirmed cases. It probably be a little while before one of the top states has 0 confirmed cases in a day, So if these 4 states can keep their increase in confirmed cases in a day to just a couple hundred cases, US states like those 4 states will shown they have hit their peak.

Other things I noticed:

1.Spain- Increase in recoveries today by 4096
2- USA- increase in confirmed cases today by almost 30,000
3. Florida still has 0 recoveries
4. Florida, California, Louisana and Mass could reach 10,000 confirmed cases on Friday
5. New York is probably going to reach 100,000 confirmed cases on Friday

No, Shands hospital and UF tested a bunch of non symptomatic seniors from the Villages. All of them came back negative.

I've also heard the test was only 60% accurate.

def keep an eye on GA. we just do not seem to have tests available. I bet if we get more tests available here, our numbers go up.

on a good note, even though the Gov had been mostly hands off, many town mayors and county commisioners have been ordering shelter at home for a few weeks now. it should be a state effort, but with the governor not making the call (until today, which starts 10 days mandatory, with police out to ticket anyone not going for food or emergency), the local officials were making the call. similar to Trump not making the call earlier and the individual governors making the call.

i am hearing a lot of noise about lawsuits coming out of all this. I wonder how scared FOX news is, with them downplaying Covid, calling it a smoke screen, encouraging people out. People like Nunes in California, encouraging people out. I wonder if they could/will be sued for risk/liability of life. im no lawyer, but will be interesting to watch.

Did you find that out by watching CNN about Fox, because I read where Fox was saying CNN was the ones downplaying calling it a hoax all along. Thus, depending on the news outlet your watching, they are all just trash talking each other. Unless you actually watched that news network make hoax claims, people are just promoting their sheeped reports from biased news outlets.

"I know you are, but what am I" isn't going to be a good defense from this. There will be a reckoning when this is over, and soon fear is going to turn to anger. People are on videotape, we won't need CSI to figure this out. The mantra on the right was that the left was hyping this up, first I heard that CNN was calling this a hoax. This isn't meant to be nasty or to fight about it, but I respectfully disagree.

Here is another fact that can easily be verified. The U.S. sold millions in masks and ventilators to China ahead of the coronavirus crisis. There will be accountability when this is over.
