Wonder how many people remember this from 2007, when Kobe tried to force a trade to Chicago...

Ooh I member

Wasn't there also talk of Kobe to Detroit for Rip Hamilton? Wonder what that would've ended up looking like. Pistons were still a 59 win team in 2008, Kobe Pistons vs Big 3 Celtics would've been fun

Dude was such an amazing dunker. You watch that and you know there's no one who was better at the highlight reel dunk.....(Vince still the best).

My all time team for most entertaining has Wilkins on it. VC too. Also, Kemp.

Give me those three plus Wade and Admiral and it'd compete against anyone.

Too many inconsistent playing from VC and kemp would not even get you a trophy in an NBA final

Jason Kidd, my all-time favorite PG. Incredible touch, incredible vision, and knew how to manipulate the defense to create passing lanes for his teammates. Won't see this all that often now, players will be looking to get to the line instead. I hope they start going away from the touch defensive fouls to allow creative players like this actually entertain the fans instead of just 3s and going to the foul line. Don't even care that he'd go home crying about Gary Payton (who was older) tearing him up on the court when he was in grade school. Gary Payton also introduced Kidd when inducted into the Hall of Fame.
"Oh, there were tears," Kidd told ESPN. "My parents would ask me, 'What's wrong?' I would be like, I think I should pick a different sport because I am not very good at it. He wouldn't let me score. [And] he would tell me you are not going to score ... that I was soft and that I wasn't good enough. And for a kid in high school that was built up to be this great high school player, it was very humbling and hard to swallow.
