You use the word "fan" loosely, but I don't even think you can use it at all.
As for me, I'm from Wisconsin. If you don't root for Green Bay, you're from the northwestern corner of the state, your dad's a transplant, or you decided to be the **** kid who liked your father's agony. I became cognizant during Favre's groove, and fully caught the bug in 95 when I was 7.
At that point, I had the misfortune of being absolutely loyal to the home town teams, particularly the one in my favorite sport in basketball. Here I waited 24 years for a transcendent team to come along and the season is going to get canceled.
