Bargain bin pure lefty shooter. Could be our version of Matt Thomas. At the very least get this guy on the Herd.

Would be fine with Vassell but he'll probably be gone before our pick. I'd prefer guys like Nesmith, McDaniels, and Maxey over him anyways. As a prospect Vassell just seems like a poor-man's Mikal Bridges. Don't really think much separates him from the other 3&D prospects in the back half of the first round.

Surely this is the draft we can can sneakily pull a great pick out of our spot. Another Donte where people look at it in future years and get pissed that we nailed another prospect.

Patrick Williams is intriguing. If he could be a natural SF in this league I'd take him confidently. But I fear he is a combo forward.

I see a taller Norman Powell. Same jersey number too.

Vassell is far and away the best team defender in this class and has shown some tough shot-making prowess. After diving into more FSU content, both he and Patrick Williams are truly intriguing prospects that I would be very happy with. Donte/Vassell would be such a game wrecking backcourt. On the flip side, if the future is Point-Center Giannis, Patrick Williams would be a perfect stretch 4 with great defense, particular as a rotating rim protector. Williams is just 18 and could still grow an inch or two, which would be a sweet bonus.

I'd really like to get a guy who can create his own shot in the half-court.

Very few space creating initiators in this class. Grant Riller is probably the best, and I would be totally down to take him at 19, although I am higher on him than most.

Ant Edwards, LaMelo and Cole Anthony can get theirs, but not really separators. Maxey has a quick trigger and feathery floater. Hayes has a super promising step back. Nesmith has a versatile shot profile, but mostly all assisted. Hampton is a cutter/slasher.

Most of the top dudes create for others at a high level like Ball, Hayes, Haliburton, Avdija, Mannion, Bolmaro or defend at a high level like Vassell, Okoro, Okongwu, Maxey, Williams (and also Bolmaro). WIldcard might be Vassell, who has shown son Khris-esque contested shot-making ability in the half-court.

Surprised more people aren't intrigued by Nico Mannion and the possibility of the ultimate Ginger backcourt with him and Donte.

Vassell is definitely who I thought of when making my post. He's seems to be able to get his own shot from what I can tell. Granted, I haven't seen him a ton but from what I've seen I'm intrigued.

Not the biggest fan of him but boy does he sometimes make quick reads and find the open man. He's not a PG, but he really sees the game develop ahead of time.

I think Saddiq Bey and Ramsey have pretty good potential in this area. Bey is just criminally slept on, imo. That guy is going to be a good player for a long time.

I wouldn't mind Bey and he could take Korver's minutes. As mentioned he is good in the half court. His outside shot is great.

I would prefer someone quicker with longer strides and more athletic, though. We lack that when DDV is not on the court.

I am sold on the FSU guys. Prefer Vassell, who is less raw, has more of a defined position, makes good decisions and just plays winning basketball.

Williams has an NBA body and athleticism at 18 which is unusual, and agreed he could grow another inch.

Vassell and Williams are both young for their classes. A lot to like for both.

Count me in on SBey. I think he's the total package as a 3&D 3. I'd love to get him and a a later pick to get Tyler Bey. Then we could make BeyBey jokes. Seriously, they're both underrated.

One of them could slip, but I think Williams would be a mistake. He might be a player to get on his second contract. I think he's too raw at this point to use a 1st rounder on.
