I'll bite. Here's 10 off the top of the mental:
Alice Coltrane "Journey in Satchidinanda"
Motion Graphics "Motion Graphics"
Friends of Dean Martinez "Shadow of Your Smile"
Isaac Hayes "Hot Buttered Soul"
Jim Hall & Bill Evans "Undercurrent"
Gil Scott Heron "Winter in America"
Sun Kil Moon "Ghosts of the Great Highway"
Dadawah [Ras Michael] "Peace & Love"
Janet Jackson "Rhythm Nation 1814"
Santana "Caravanserai"

Not my top 10 records, though I love them all, but each are sonically amazing and were recorded impeccably.

While the Grateful Dead were definitely not at their best in the studio, I feel like live recordings are fairly subjective in enjoyability so...

I sort of did this the other night while I made dinner. I listened to ‘Darkside’. Oldie but goodie. Can’t beat Pink Floyd.

But since you mentioned Radiohead I’m going to listen to that one for sure. I have ‘There, There’ rolling in my body now that you mentioned that album. It’s in the back of my throat waiting to be exorcised.

Fell like everyone knows this by now but Jeff Buckley's Grace is the definition of a beautiful album, start to finish.

Roxette is such a good one. She for sure started my thing for girls with blond, spiky hair.

Hounds of Love by Kate Bush is one of the greatest pop albums in the history of the world.

One of my other favorite whiskey sipping albums is Kind of Blue by Miles Davis.

I recorded a song about Karen called "Karen". Honest feedback only. Movie theaters are closing and music is recession-proof.

I love that song, but only because Placebo and The O.C., I admit it.

As someone who generally enjoyed Bruno Mars' "Treasure," I'm glad I found the (way better) inspiration:

Thanks everyone for the album tips- I've added them all to a mega playlist in spotify (let me know if anyone is bored and wants the link!).

Currently working happily away, headphones on and listening to Hounds of Love. This is one of my favourite all time albums, I hadn't listed to it in years!

Have you listened to the Futureheads version of that song? Really enjoyable.

Yep, agreed- thanks, Ill-yasova for posting that. I hadn't seen it before and it made me smile. I'm in a good mood now (truth be told, I'm always in a good mood).
