yeah lets trade for a bum on an indefinite drug suspension

I wouldn't even trade DSJ for Malik Monk

That "bum" was averaging 16.7 ppg in the month of February before he got suspended. I would take him over Frank all day and never look back. Thank you very much!

which is why I'm glad you aren't GM'ing the team because the knicks would never ever ever make a Frank for Monk straight up deal.

Trier who barely played on the knicks is better than Monk.

I am glad you aren't the Knicks GM as well because trading Randle for Batum is probably the worst trade in Knicks history

I agree that Trier and Monk are better than Frank :D

I can't imagine they'd trade Mitchell, since he's the young one but we definitely have enough picks to make an attempt. The lottery and the two dallas picks plus Knox, Smith, Iggy could be enough to do it. It wouldn't be a big deal to swap out Smith for Frank either. We probably could make the playoffs next year with Spida, RJ, and Mitch.

I will gladly post this on the general NBA trade thread. Would you be surprised if the majority of realgm believes the knicks win that trade?

I wouldn't even post it here becuase I know for a fact a majority of knicks fans would do that trade.

Anybody know if they plan on pushing the lottery back along with the draft or is it that still going to happen on May 19th?

Forget game 7, I re-watched the Knicks-Rockets game 6 yesterday and Riley's coaching cost us a championship down the stretch of that game.

The Knicks ran a pick-and-roll with Ewing so the best defender in the NBA could switch onto Starks? Looking back, this was an incredibly stupid decision. Hakeem should have never been in position to block his shot in the first place. He was the DPOY, why involve him in the action? We all know Starks would've made that shot.

I don't blame Riley for sticking with Starks in game 7. But game 6 is when he really messed up.

We should have won that series.

With a healthy Melo, let alone a healthy Tyson, we would've gone to the ECF.

All the recent positive memories from the Knicks remind me of good things happening in GOT. There's always something that ruins it (Amar'e's injury, Knicks not resigning Lin, Melo's injury just before and during the 2013 playoffs etc). Even the clincher against Boston felt anticlimactic with their big run in the 4th quarter. The Knicks lol, what have we done to deserve this.

I would think it would get pushed back. What’s the rush? What happens when we get another wave of this in the fall?

Cant forget JR doing coke during the Indiana series and shooting around 20%, Tyson getting owned by Roy Hibbert, Raymond Felton playing like complete garbage, Jason Kidd going like 1-20. Shumpert was the only one who showed up besides Melo in game 6. SMH!!
