This is my first post and probably my last as it will probably get me banned,I read a lot of the posts in this thread so I know anyone who has different thoughts or ideas are quickly banished

7 posts and you still ain't banned. Careful, it's rough around here. Some libs will try to bait you into name calling or lewd language. Don't fall for that trap. We try to have long leashes here (compared to the Current Affairs board) but still like to keep it family friendly. Post your views and bring your A game and your armor, because there are some sharp minds here and a few sharp tongues.

I've never liked Biden, going back to his early days in the Senate. I won't bother to list the reasons, and there are many. As I've stated elsewhere, the race for president will be between two doddering white male sexual predator intellectual lightweight seniors. I'm voting for Biden, because he's not totally insane.

Biden 2020: At least he's not totally insane!

Biden is beyond insane.Although it will be interesting to see the craziness that Pelosi dreams up to blame on Trump after his reelection

what's insane is that all U.S. history, government, and civics students from now on will be forced to learn that in 2016, a presidential candidate openly solicits foreign intervention to sway the election, and a foreign government intervened, but when an independent counsel came to the conclusion that although there was sufficient evidence that there definitely a call, and an answer, they weren't able to collect enough evidence to establishing a causal relationship, and everyone just pretended nothing happened.

then barely a year after the investigation, that presidential candidate, who at that point had become the sitting president, again solicited foreign intervention in an election. he was impeached, and during the senate trial, the majority party, the party of the President in question, literally refused to conduct a trial, called no witnesses, and rubber stamped an acquittal within the span of a week.

or how about the idea that Republicans were losing their minds over Hunter Biden have no problem with Jared Kushner being in charge of everything?

spare me your regurgitated Joe Rogan hot takes.

Speaking of dementia

To mental health professionals like me, the red flags are waving wildly. In January 2018, over 70 of us wrote a letter to the president’s physician, Dr. Ronny Jackson, urging him to administer a cognitive exam during the president’s physical because we had seen a marked deterioration in his verbal functioning, possibly due to cognitive decline.

pancake chen defending China, but attacking anything that even veers to the right, there's a shocker. What I cant fathom is why Ruz would applaud them and say, where would we be if not for China sending us so and so?

You can just end that question with the nation itself, where would we be if not for China?

We can all agree Trump has completely botched this cant we? So his tweets about anything Covid related is just noise. There's nothing whatsoever to thank China for, they single handedly did this

I do have to agree with you - Trump screwed the pooch on this one.

I do think that China had a huge roll in this - I don't understand why on earth Trump was thanking them.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Another problem is the American people should not have to own this cost via taxes. The logical, rationale thing would have been to penalty tax any American company that does business in China, whether its manufacturing or whatever, they pay this off. This is China's doing, so partnering there for cheap labor has to have some costs here on out.

Why are we even thinking about China right now? We need testing and ventilators and PPE. People are dying every day.

Focusing on China or, you know, defunding the WHO shows a complete lack of understanding for what's going on right now. Imagine if Bush defunded the FBI on 9/12 to launch an investigation into why they didn't stop 9/11. It's insanity.

Plus while it’s clear they could and should have handled it better,
I don’t believe they acted maliciously, not on the evidence I am
currently aware of. Saying we should make all companies doing
business in China pay isn’t a very practical solution. Simple minds,
simple ideas, complicated problems will remain unsolved.
Good thing we have stable genius in charge. I forgot to mention
highly ethical and empathetic. Oh wait.

Not arguing that, those are the biggest needs. yea criticizing China isnt essential and dire like the 2 things you mentioned, neither is defending them, praising them, or complaining about the stimulus

name calling again, in times of a pandemic, nice. But you have yet to ever propose anything beneficial in your entire life, so rocks, glass houses.

you can believe what you want, time in time out these things start there 9 times out of 10, why? Did they create this in a lab?
Call it a conspiracy, but why does it always start there? Because of their vile eating habits? Oh let me guess, because they have such a massive population, yet they have a billion populated neighbor where these things never originate.
