They are still talking about playing in front of empty arenas. Then later on playing at like 1/4 capacity, with people sitting three seats away from each other.

Stay safe everyone.....

I don't see much of a chance of saving this season, but the grim reality is, the entirety of next season in all major sports is likely to be played to empty seats as well.

The 20-21 NBA season will probably be condensed and played on neutral grounds, maybe 4 to 8 arenas hosting all games, no crowds.

Don't expect fans in seats until 21-22.

This entire year is a wash and we are still way too far away from a vaccine

He was set to retire in just 30 days. This breaks my heart. Half of my job is out sick due to this virus. I thought I had it 2 weeks ago, I had a fever for 2 days and I felt a little winded but felt alot better in 3 days, I didn't get tested. Took 2 weeks off of work just to be sure and cautious. I am 100% now. This thing is taking ppl in NYC. Several ppl I know lost loved ones. I cannot believe what is going on.

I'm sorry to hear man, just terrible.

I personally know a couple people who are currently fighting it. I'm also convinced it's what my grandmother passed from in late January and whatever she had I came down with about 10 days later and presumably passed to 2 co-workers, I didn't make the full connection at the time, but now it all seems clear.

Thanks. Rest in peace to your abuela. I also wrote on one of these pages how I got very sick in December right before Christmas. I had the flu but this was not like any regular flu. I was literally sick for like a week and a half, I'm never sick for that long. Usually when I have the flu, I recover in 2-3 days tops . This one was just lingering and I had a bad cough. My father and uncles were also sick during that time. Many ppl got sick around December-January and it could of very well possibly been the virus. This thing is taking ppl in NYC rapidly.

I never imagined that this year would be like this. The entire world has changed and normalcy is not coming back for awhile. It feels like 9/11 all over again but this time the threat and deaths are a daily thing. My coworker's mom died last sunday from this, I can't even begin to fathom what she is going through. Every day I am hoping my sister who is a nurse will be okay. I can't even sleep without getting drunk now. I just have no hope of things getting better any time soon.

Yea man I'm really curious to see how we'll be post COVID-19. I don't think we'll be back to "regular" for a while, maybe sometime in 2021. And it sucks because this was suppose to be a great year for me, I had a bunch of trips planned etc.. This affects everything. I don't see how arenas will pack out again. 15,000 plus fans in a crowded arena , I don't see that happening any time soon again. De Blasio just closed pools for the rest of the year. Hope your sis gets through this safely.
