Your Draft Night Predictions

Post#1 » by Treebeard » Tue Apr 21, 2020 6:06 pm

What are your personal Draft Night Predictions? (with just a couple of days to go)

Who is your personal preferred selection at #30?

Who do you think the Packers actually pick?

What selections at #30 will make you happy?

What selection(s) at #30 will enrage you?

Do the Packers stand pat at #30, move back, move up?

What group of players by the end of round seven will be considered a successful draft? (on May 1, 2020)

*** Patrick Queen

***Jalen Reagor

What selections at #30 will make you happy?
*** Queen, Reagor, Jefferson, Aiyuk, several other WR's or even an OT

What selection(s) at #30 will enrage you?
*** Any Cornerback

Do the Packers stand pat at #30, move back, move up?
***I think they try to move back into the early second round, but get no satisfactory takers

What group of players by the end of round seven will be considered a successful draft? (on May 1, 2020)
*** I want an LB, WR, or OT by the end of round 3. Another RB by 4 or 5. A QB from round 4 on won't bother me. (Boyle doesn't do much for me)

Im not knowledgeable enough on prospects to have strong opinions but my guess is the Packers take the ASU wr Aiyuk round 1. He feels like the type of well rounded wr they have traditionally liked.

Who is your personal preferred selection at #30? - Mims

Who do you think the Packers actually pick? - Queen

What selections at #30 will make you happy? - Queen, Mims, Winfield Jr., Tua, Shenault Jr. Josh Jones, Dye, Higgins

What selection(s) at #30 will enrage you? None that would enrage me. Just different degrees of apprehension and disappointment.

Do the Packers stand pat at #30, move back, move up? Move back.

What group of players by the end of round seven will be considered a successful draft? (on May 1, 2020) Give me two WRs, and at least one OL and DL in the first five rounds. A hybrid S/LB. Developmental QB later.

- LB (Murray, Queen) WR (Mims, Reagor, Aiyuk)
What selection(s) at #30 will enrage you?

Speed on both sides of the ball. Definitely speed at WR and LB if possible, we always just seem 2-3 steps slower than every other team in the league at every position.

Who is your personal preferred selection at #30?
(Justin Jefferson or Jordan Love but I think both will be gone, so more realistically) Laviska Shenault

Who do you think the Packers actually pick?
Jalen Reagor

What selections at #30 will make you happy?
The ones listed above or Ross Blacklock, Murray, Queen, or Josh Jones.

What selection(s) at #30 will enrage you?

A tight end or some dude who we are pretty confident will be there in the later rounds

Do the Packers stand pat at #30, move back, move up?

Stand pat, but I could see them moving down if someone offers a future first and a high second if a QB falls to them.

Best players available, I really don't care if the best players are DBs, RB, QB...take them. It would be nice if BPA also helps us find a WR, ILB, and get players that help in the trenches. I know most would hate if we drafted DT and offensive line first, but I think that if we did that correctly it would catapult us to a top contender.

I think we're going to end up moving down and taking a receiver in the 2nd Round, which would be fine depending on who is sitting there at 30. I'd be happy with Queen or Murray in the first as well.

Keep trading back as long as you can still get one of those 2nd tier receivers, and use the extra 6ths and 7th to move up out of the 5th. Would love to end up with two 2nds and two 3rds somehow.

Packers take Higgins at 30.

Washington trades out of #2 to a team that wants either Tua or Wirfs leaving Chase Young for Detroit at 3.

Packers take Jalen Hurts in round 2.

Jeudy is the fourth receiver taken after Lamb, Jefferson and Ruggs (in that order).

Let’s get nuts

Who is your personal preferred selection at #30? D’Andre Swift.

Who do you think the Packers actually pick? Austin Jackson, Josh Jones or Cesar Ruiz

What selections at #30 will make you happy? Elite speed

What selection(s) at #30 will enrage you? Someone slow for their position.

Do the Packers stand pat at #30, move back, move up? I think Gute moves back and collects extra picks before he makes his 1st choice.

I hope they move up for Simmons, Lamb, Jeudy or Ruggs.

What selections at #30 will make you happy? WR, and one with speed - I'm a BPA all day but there's so many good WR in this group that I'll be disappointed if we don't fill that masssive need.

I'd be thrilled if we end up with 3 of the 4 after 3 rounds: WR/TE/DL/OT

I predict we’ll stay up too late only to have the Packers trade out of the first round.

10 minutes X 30 picks = midnight. And that's without glitches. I'll stay up but I agree, we're likely trading down.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I think we will trade down to especially if the 2 receivers they want reagor n higgins are still on the board at 30.
Watch the colts i think that could be GBs trade partner 2nd n 4th for GBs 30th pick
Then trade green bays 2nd n indys 4th to move up in 2nd round n get guy you want there just thinking.
All bets off table though is murray n jefferson are sitting there at 23ish then i think the packers will try n jump in front of Baltimore n NO for either murray or jefferson just my 2.5 cents

I predict that I will have a strong opinion despite having no clue if the pick is actually good and I will use the opinions of those on this board to form my opinion about this pick.

That sounds like when I got talked into the idea that draft pick Thon would become a real NBA player before he collects Social Security...
