2020 Draft Thread

My hope tonight/tomorrow is to see Rodgers get some help at WR. I don't care if it's moving up or back but there's no real reason for us not to spend a 1st/2nd rounder on help at WR given the depth of this draft at that position. I got so tired of running out Davante and a bunch of guys who were #4/#5 types. We badly need a second legit weapon.

Would also be fine if they went OL even though it's not sexy.

The PFF guys had a theory that because the WR class is so deep, the Jeudy/Lamb/Ruggs group will fall because teams will just wait until the 2nd round to get a quality receiver.

Would be nice if we could trade to around 20 to snag one of those guys.

Yeah that could absolutely happen but it really only takes like two teams jumping on wrs before teams think a run is on and then they could fly off the board.

WTH are you betting on ??

There are about 100 bets that I'm seeing (I have a buddy who lives where he can bet legally online). Which teams will take specific players, who gets drafted before who, draft position (Derrick Brown draft position, under 7.5 is -160, over 7.5 is +125). How many players from specific schools will be drafted in round 1, etc.

That's some hard core stuff. I don't think I have the stomach or the temperament to know when to say when to gamble.

I basically randomly picked some bets just to keep my interest going tonight.

I can see the logic of teams waiting. But sometimes it's a herd mentality and if one or two come of the board there would be a run.

We really need WR help though. Second round is fine.

Well I did say that I didn't think the Packers would be able to piss me off this year cause there wasn't really a player I've fallen in love with this year so I guess trading up into the top 15 for a WR when recievers id be just as happy with would still be available at 30 would suffice..... Four weeks ago I would have agreed, but now there really seems like there could be six or seven WRs taken before #30. I know it's a crazy deep class, but that doesn't really sit well with me if they believe WR is the obvious upgrade. Or, who knows, maybe it's to secure the top ILB in the draft. That would make sense.
