Who are you referring to? Hurd? Aiyuk is faster than Crabtree. Draft Network's scouting report on his speed says "Plenty of juice. You get him in the open field and let him open up his strides and he's going to blow you away." You must be thinking of a different Michael Crabtree because that's not the scouting report I would have given him.

he actually reminds me more of emmanual sanders.

If he plays that way, I'll be happy. Sanders has better hands but Aiyuk should be much better at YAC. With Aiyuk, Deebo and Kittle turning short passes into big chunk plays, Jimmy G could be one of the passing yardage leaders by just throwing 10 yard slants and crosses!

Wasn’t James good enough???

I need some more feedback on him

That’s the only thing good with that pick is that we finally get to replace James in the return game.

Dolphins take CB Noah Igbinoghene of Auburn

Nickel. Looked like a top 40 type of pick.

I've been drowning my sorrows watching Kinlaw, and I really like the dude. Really good hand usage with long arms & power to the punch; that's a deadly combination. If Ford can stay healthy, Niners' DL should still be one of the best in the league again. :D

Their CB situation sucks, though. :banghead:

One of the analysts on the radio said that Aiyuk was Shanahan's favorite receiver in the entire draft. I don't know how he knows that or is just guessing, but moving up and giving up 2 valuable picks to get Aiyuk obviously means that Shanahan really wanted him and didn't think he'd be there at 31. Still not sure how we will get a CB, OT and TE with the picks we have left; maybe Lynch can deal Goodwin, Pettis, James and/or Breida for some more picks.

Feels like Pettis all over again. I don't see why you wouldn't draft a guy like KJ Hamler assuming his medical checked out.

Probably because Hamler plays the slot receiver. Deebo is pretty good there and Taylor and Hurd are more suited for the slot than the outside. I think Shanahan wanted someone who could play outside.

The two big names that everyone was comparing Brandon Aiyuk to were Pierre Garcon and Greg Jennings, and one person thought he was more of a Jeremy Maclin

Aiyuk is gonna be nice IMO, but if Jeudy/Lamb are a higher tier, it'll be a whiff.
