We dodged a bullet here. Seahawks is having a horrible draft. It’s awful.

Trevon Diggs free falling unless I missed something. If he falls to the 3rd would anyone be opposed to using next year’s second to move up for him?

I noticed that too. Hoping Stanford Samuels drops mightily giving us the chance to draft him tomorrow.

Hmm. Trevon Diggs looks pretty good. We might regret passing up on him.

Re: 2020 NFL DRAFT OFFICIAL thread
Would be great if we could do that; maybe a 5th rounder this year and a 4th rounder next year? But his cap number is $14.5M for 2020 (the final year of his contract), so it would only seem to be feasible if the Niners already know that Staley is retiring. Can't see any way they could afford that unless they have Staley's $$ to use.

I don’t like the idea of playing against Cam Akers.

Why would the Eagles draft a QB so early in the draft!? That selection would pissed me off if I were an Eagles fan.

Re: 2020 NFL DRAFT OFFICIAL thread
At what price? Next year's second round pick? He's only signed for this year, and I don't see how we can fit him under the salary cap for an extension. Not to mention he turns 32 before the season and has had some health issues. I'm just not that interested unless we can make it happen for our fifth round pick.

A 5th this year and a 4th next year could make that happen I think. They could throw in a 6th next year in addition to getting Williams.

I think that's what I said. But as I also said, can't see it happening with a $14.5M cap number unless Staley has already told Lynch that he is retiring.

There goes AJ Epenesa heading upstate NY to Buffalo. Playing alongside Ed Oliver is a blessing for him.
NFL Comp is Michael Strahan. I know that’s high praises that he may never live up to but the kid has that potential to be great.

Hard to imagine them trading him for that, even if they know he won't play for them. And how do we afford to extend him?

J.K. Dobbins to Baltimore is going to feast in that system. Steal!!
What’s crazy about that draft pick is that many draft pundits anticipated that pick for the Ravens - 2nd round.

Re: 2020 NFL DRAFT OFFICIAL thread
If Staley does retire and they passed on Tristan Wirfs, I'm gonna be very upset. If he doesn't retire, Williams doesn't make sense for us.
