First pick that the internet likes. Only took until pick #175. The Owl is ours.

Sounds like he’s injury prone.

Fine with it. First pick we made, I am not questioning it. Usually after the 4th, it is whatever for me.

A guy most thought would be undrafted and find himself on the practice squad. Great. Cool.

Can’t cover or slow to recognize the play.

Re: 5th Round - Kamal Martin - Poll
just read this about him...
I have real questions about his mental quickness to process which seemingly slows him down even more. He is often fooled on misdirections and RPOs and struggles to locate the football at times. He diagnoses slow, but has some redeeming value in his straight line speed and range. As a man coverage player, he will struggle.

Perfect went from Blake Martinez to Blake Martinez who's always hurt.

Re: 5th Round - Kamal Martin - Poll
Watching his highlight reel, seems really good at creating turnovers, aggressive and pretty athletic. Interesting player, curious what he would have tested athletically if he wasn't injured.

I was much more interested in the other Gopher, Tyler Johnson. Oh well.

Sounds like he’s perfectly built for modern day football.

Looks good in the highlights. Strong tackling, forced fumbles, interceptions that aren't just off bounces. Wonder what his 40 and cone times would be.

No. 175 overall: The Packers select LB Kamal Martin, Packers
Chris Trapasso gives the pick a 'D+': "Martin looks the part of a modern-day NFL player because of his high-cut frame. But he lacks athletically and is a liability in coverage. Good hitter if kept between the tackles."
