People mostly speak about Rodman for his defense, rebounding and his antics, but whether it be Phil, Michael or Scottie, they always talked about how smart he was and that he had a very high basketball IQ.

His instincts were just unreal. I love when he was talking about how he would practice getting the angles right from places the ball would come off. Also, when you hear his teammates talk about how he knew all the rotations on defense and never missed one and could guard players of any size big or small. Nobody guarded Shaq any better than the Worm and he was giving up 100 lbs and 6 inches to him. Just crazy smart player.

Wow. That is impressive. Never seen that... talk about being ahead of your time as a player. He's so tailor made for today's game that I think he would have been better in this era. He wasn't a physical player and he had all the skills that today's game values more than back then. Not that he wasn't great in his own era but he was such a fit for today's softer rules, 3 pt shooting, and open, less physical game.

Scottie telling Krause (who was dancing) to sit down after the Bulls swept the Pistons is the first time I am smh at Scottie. I get Pippen's animosity towards Krause, but Jerry did earn the right to celebrate with the team after that series.

I think that clip was actually from 98 of Krause dancing on the bus. If you notice MJ was wearing a 3peat shirt from the first run. Also, I think the song playing came out in 98. Michael was also boasting about winning a bet on the Superbowl. The Broncos has just beaten the Packers. The Bulls had just beaten Denver by like 35 points and were on their way to Utah to play the Jazz in a game they lost.

Noticed that with the shirt ... definitely said “3peat” for a moment I thought it had a “x2” on it next to the “3peat” though I’d have to watch again to be sure and don’t remember that shirt back in the day.

Sidenote: was looking online for an image of it....I have this one packed away with all sorts of Bulls “starter” gear

This doc has me wanting to dig into storage and start wearing it all like it’s the 90’s again. I could eBay it for a healthy profit.... but hell no.

Okay.... so apparently it’s been cleared up and MJ is trolling hard...

He's such an underrated player and it's a shame he hasn't been represented in the documentary yet. I'm still bummed we couldn't convince him to rejoin the Bulls during the Gordon years.

I’ve said it a ton of times.

Toni Kukoc would absolutely thrive in today’s NBA. His size, shooting, passing and ball handling ability. Teams would be looking at him at the top of the draft in today’s league.

If RealGM were around in the late 90s, we'd be talking about how excited we were about Dragan Tarlac coming over. I still remember Chuck and Kenny making fun of Tarlac and Bagaric looking like two weird bald-headed twins on the Bulls bench. Anyone have any insight on why Tarlac was such a horrible bust in the NBA and unable to make a successful transition after having a pretty good Euro career? The Dragan Tarlac we saw looks nothing like this guy:

Those guys are just confused. Like I said, that was from 98. I think the doc was a little confusing because it jumped from the Pistons sweep to that 98 scene just after the Superbowl. They were clearly talking about the 98 Superbowl when the Broncos beat the Packers. MJ held up his C note and was yelling back at somebody about the Broncos win, calling them a "cheesehead".

Holy crap... I was wrong. Just went back and watched that and it WAS from 91 just after sweeping the Pistons. MJ really did have on a 3Peat x2 shirt before they even won the first one!! That is insane. How prophetic can anything ever be? SMDH at this.

Toni Kukoc could have been Luka Doncic if he was born 25 years later.

So Jordan didn't properly lift weights until 1990, 6 years after entering the NBA. That's just crazy to me. He would just be an absolute monster in today's NBA, growing up in this era.

There’s confusion. When I first saw the image it appeared it may have a “2”. Watching it again I thought either a 2 or a ? . When looking online twitter cleared it up as being a Pistons 3peat ? shirt. MJ was wearing it to rub a little salt in the Pistons wounds/troll.

That explains it. Now, I see it's not red and black but red and blue and not x2 but a "?". At first I thought it was red and black and said x2 especially after seeing some of the reactions to it.

If would’ve been something to see 19 year old Toni in today’s games. That scout vid from earlier was when he was 22-23 ish.

19 year old Toni was a beast. Had he been in today’s league, being coached up, he’d of been so damned impressive. His passing was so absurdly good. Hell It would’ve been interesting to see what he became had he arrived on the Bulls without Pippen as the point forward. Had one of those rumored trades... the original Kemp rumor had the Bulls getting pick 11 and drafting Eddie Jones... or their Boston trade that rumor had Krause wanting VanHorn and Mcgrady with the picks, come to pass and MJ stayed around with the youth, Kukoc may very well have been looked at as more the Euro Magic.

Still believe he’s one of the more under appreciated members of the dynasty (along with Harper) and think he sacrificed a lot of what he could have become as an individual talent to fit and win.

yeah, wrong Isaiah... not Isiah Thomas of the Pistons. The current Isaiah with two "A's" was still in diapers when the Bad Boys were winning titles. Born in '89.

I kind of think we need gather all the Last Dance related podcasts and interviews. There's a lot of good stuff out there and I would hate to miss out on some good stories. I would like to thank whoever linked the Dan Patrick Reggie Miller interview uptrend. Jalen and Jacoby have been doing some great post game interviews with jason heir as well
