Would love that. Definitely could fill a role we could use help at now instead of later like QB and RB.

At a minimum just a good blocker would be good because we can't hang on to Lewis forever (slightly different roles but still)

No idea where a lot of the scouts were getting the "not a plus athlete" stuff. People still zero too much in on 40 times.

His SPARQ scores were really low as I recall. Like 20th percentile or below.

That being said SPARQ doesn’t really measure someone that is a smooth athlete with good dexterity which is the bucket Josiah seems to fall into.

I'm a big fan of utilizing your TE's out of the backfield more. We saw how MLF made a decent contributor out of Lewis in the passing game last season when the year before he was basically useless under McCarthy. Think Deguara has real value as a gadget player you can line up all over the field.

I do feel that in a weird way this pick has a lot of upside for the offense. One of the things I really liked about the team last year is that yes, it took a lot of luck to win some of those close games last year, but also, there were multiple games we iced with ball control and that has not rate during my time watching the Packers. If this guy can move the sticks and draw some attention from the second level of the defense, that will open up a lot. From what I see and hear from him, I could see him being a 250 lb guy who knows the offense inside and out and runs great routes. Could be fun.
