Really liking kira lewis's scouting report. Has a modern nba offensive game. Threes and attacking the rim. Is a decent defender...

Have y'all seen the 2021 NBA mock draft at all? I realize we have a looming 2020 draft coming up, but I am just super excited about this class. From scouts, to film, to highlights, there seems to be a forgone conclusion that this could be one of the deepest "star" drafts in recent years.

2021 NBA Mock Draft
PICK TEAM HT POS AGE
1. Cade Cunningham Oklahoma State 6-7 PG 18.5
2. Jalen Green G League Select 6-5 SG 18.2

This is why I am now starting to lean on taking James Wiseman this year or trade the pick for another 2021 pick.

came here to post this myself but just saw you already did

anyway, obviously if we STILL don't have our PG I'm trying to get the best PG available which as of now looks like cunningham and if we get our PG this year I'm looking at Jalen Green. Givony says they'd likely be the top 2 picks in this draft as well

also glad to see 2 of his top 10 at kentucky. We on Kuminga's list too. That would be fun. Kuminga also looks like a beast, I'd been watching his highlights recently

I think we get a PG and a D&3 SF this draft. I also think RJ stays at SG. So we go into 2021 looking to grab SF with star potential, We might even use the mavs pick to go up a spot if neccessary to grab the best SF available.

It's just hard to say about next year without knowing how the players we will draft this year will turn out. We could get duds and still need to fill every position and take the BPA. Plus we still need to see if some guys who have been here a couple years now will still be a part of the future after next year like Frank Knox Mitch etc.

BPA in 2020
BPA in 2021

Plenty of time to figure out the rest. If we are lucky enough to draft 2 superstar PGs or something like that it would be a great problem to have..maybe they even work together?

The 2021 lottery is going to be so incredibly important for us. Franchise changing. Hope the Mavs are trash next year so we have 2 chances.

Dreaming, but imagine if our pick and Mavs pick both fell in top 3 after lottery? I think I’d cry.
