As far as I know, that's negotiated by the NBA. So it depends on the player. Don't think it's across the board.

ahhhh ok that makes sense then. Would think everyone would jump on that if it were across the board. 500k and the rights to my likeness all over the place? shiiiiidddd sign me up. I'll take a 2k G-League cameo real quick lol.

Never thought I would say these words but looking forward to watching some G-League next year.

keeping an eye on sharife cooper. good footwork and handles. looks like a floor general on offense. needs to show he won't be defensive liability at the next level though.

Love rooting for the little guys like tyler ulis, jameer nelson, and delonte west. They are so fun to watch in college.

6'4 Delonte West? Maybe Earl Boykins?

Is Cade Cunningham going to be the first "next Luka Doncic" when he comes out for the draft in 2021? I watch his highlights and his game is so similar to Luka's, at least aesthetically.

It's certainly not unlikely that this will be his go-to comparison if he plays well next year. There are differences but the similarities are clearly there and Cade is the type of prospect who might actually be good enough to not have such comparisons look premature or even foolish when they are made.

Big guard that has a great feel for the game and to run an offense, for sure. Im not sure Cade is anywhere close to Luka when it comes to shot creation though. Im not seeing a 28ppg kind of guy with Cade like we are already seeing with Luka. But ya you gotta love the combination of size, vision and just overall feel for the game from him.

I'd wait a little before throwing out Luka comparisons for Cade.

Like Luka is a legit top-7 player in his 2nd season. That's a pretty high bar to set to anyone. I'll just wait to see how he performs in college.

But as other's have pointed out, Luka was better as a shot-creator back at Madrid, and he was a decent 3pt spot-up shooter, which I have yet to see in Cade.
Robert Horry is better than MJ, because everybody knows that 7>6.

I don't think anyone is expecting him develop exactly as Luka. When top-prospects are compared to top-players that always implies the considerable chance that the prospects never reach that level as still a lot has to break right for them – but it underscores their potential.

I agree that Cade doesn't yet look like a 25+PPG scorer but there's plenty of time to develop. I think especially the way Luka operates once he got a step inside the arc is truly special and Cade hasn't shown as much yet but he certainly has the tools for it, too. And his three-point shooting has noticeably improved although he hasn't shown enough shooting versatility yet for me to be fully confident in his ability to pull-up efficiently and at will. Not concerned about his ability to spot up or knock shots down when left open.

Also, while he lacks some of the shot creation ability of Doncic (who has a bag of countermoves and uses them so instinctively that is virtually impossible to teach) Cade certainly projects to be a better defender early on.

Cade is more like something between Booker and Ben Simmons to me
