This is just an absolute clinic in grappling and submissions (particularly arm triangles and twisters). Sheesh. Rosa’s gotten ZERO offense in.

Mitchell is one of the best younger dudes in the UFC. His grappling is just on a completely different level. His top game is the definition of suffocating. Dude is going to be really good.

Where's that dude who was talking about the UFC's protocols?

UFC conducted over 1,200 tests. One fighter came up positive. The rest of the card is going forward. This is exactly how the protocol was supposed to work. Identify anyone who is infected, isolate them, and minimize the damage to the event.

Do you think the other sports are only going to move forward if every athlete tests negative? You'd be wrong (not surprising) if you thought that.

If the NBA resumes the 19-20 season, the league doesn't plan on having a stoppage of play if a player tests positive.

https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/258108/NBA-Plans-To-Keep-Playing-If-Player-Tests-Positive-For-COVID-19-Again

Anyways, I can't wait for the event. And I hope everyone who has been diametrically opposed to it going on doesn't watch. Gotta stick to your prinicples!

BUT THE NBA WILL WAIT UNTIL THERE IS NO WIDE, ACTIVE INFECTION IN THE POPULOUS.

Jacare contracted/spread this to non-competitors BECAUSE HE WAS TRAINING FOR THE EVENT AT THE PEAK OF THE PANDEMIC. That's the issue. The community spread wrought by training. Other people might well die or be hospitalized because of the vector created around Jacare's camp.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Other fighters need to fight this kid soon to catch him before he starts to add some striking to his game. 145 is getting deep!!! I have a feeling we may see a Mitchell vs Ortega fight within the next year.

Who the f*ck is "Mitchell" and why are you nerds talking about him instead of Thug Nasty?

Wow. His eye looks jacked up. The doctor had to stop it, but truthfully some refs probably would’ve called it when he got knocked down.

Esparza vs hottie should've been the lead into the prelims. Hottie has been an automatic decision fighter for the last few years now. Good chance this fight kills the momentum that the card has built up so far.

They should strap a respirator on the ringcard girls.

Haha, I didn't realize that Rosa was asking/daring Thug Nasty to stand with him while he was mounted. That's one strategy I guess, and pretty hilarious too.

It seems to me that in general in the women's side of UFC that there is just a huge gap between the truly world class fighters and everyone else. when you get to the 6th and 7th ranked fighters like this they look like amateurs compared to the champion women's fighters. either of these women would get demolished by Weili. i guess that's inevitable when there is just a fraction of the depth as on the men's side.

Thought that was a dumb choice for a fight on this card. Hottie going the distance has become and automatic thing over the last few years. Then add in the massive gap from the elite women and the women like Carla and Hottie, then add in the no fans. They were pretty much asking for a boring fight that will turn away the general audience.

You want to turn the general audience onto women's MMA, give them a Valentina fight. Fights like this last one does more damage than good for the general audience.

Werdum looks to be in bad shape. He was never known for his physique or anything, but his gut is kind of hanging out there and he’s lumbering all over the place with no real mobility or fluidity.
