Dang...Craig Sager came with the heat with that "backstabbing" question directed at Jerry Krause.
Sager achieved a major journalism milestone. He has a question during a press-conference that mad the interviewee so mad he or she stormed off without answering any other questions.

Re: ESPN's 'The Last Dance' -- ongoing discussion
Apparently the news that MJ was going to retire broke during game 1 of the 1993 ALCS between the Blue Jays and White Sox. First off, I had no idea the White Sox were good enough to make the ALCS during the 90s. Secondly, I had no idea news of MJ's first retirement broke during an MLB playoff game.

If you want to see some absolutely insane stuff look for these series on youtube:
1989 against the Cavs - 40/8/6 on 60 TS% (and with 3 spg too) (Game 5 features "The Shot")
1991 Finals
And one of the most insane series you will ever see:
1992 first round against the Miami heat
45/10/7 on 67 TS% with 3 spg and 1 bpg
(yes those numbers are correct)
The 1991 Finals ... I was dumb enough to think we were going to win the series after Perkins hit that shot in Game 1. (I think Jordan rimmed a shot out at the buzzer.)
Then, it was like a tsunami. I still remember him dribbling down court in Game 3 and forcing OT with that jumper over Byron Scott, just as easy as you want. We had a bunch of injuries that piled up but he just tore us up. I don't recall him having any monster scoring games (for him anyway) but he was just doing everything with playmaking, defense, his usual 30-35 pts, etc.
The one performance that does still stand out vividly was Scottie in Game 5. He's easily one of my favorite players of all time, and that was one of the best games he ever played: 32-13-7-5-1 with 12 FTs drawn.

Most random hilarious moment of the series so far is Jeremy Piven popping up to give us his point-of-view. Like...why? Why Jeremy Piven? What was the thought process on that decision?

Right, but this part of the documentary isn't a surprise. Pippen quitting and Kucok hitting the game winner is well documented at this point.
It's a huge blemish on Pippen's legacy, but it's pretty much the only blemish.

Jordan gnawing a cigar, mock-swinging a baseball bat while fixating on an opponent getting the better of him and wanting revenge is one of the most badass things i've ever seen in my life

Did Ahmad Rashad get hired to do NBA on NBC just because he was Jordan's friend

MJ's return after a 21-month absence: 19 points on 7/28 shooting. Yikes. Didn't realize it was that bad. Not a surprise, I just forgot it was a really rough first game back for him.
Didn't take him long to get back into MJ form, though. Had his double-nickel game in MSG a week later.

The migraine game wasn’t a blemish ?

Yes and no? I still need to read more about that game to understand it. I'm still not 100% sure how much of that was truly a migraine for Pippen and how much of it was something else.
