All-in:

Ty Lue in comand.

Sell #55 for cash considerations (you will need).

Trade Allen + Levert + Prince + 2020 1st (20) for Holiday + Hart.

Trade Dinwiddie + Musa + Temple for Gordon + Birch.

I assume Harris won't take the Tax MLE (he said he wants to re-sign, but teams will throw at least the full MLE at him), so let him go and sign another guard for that money. R. Jackson (LAC)/Moore (NOP)/Holiday (IND)/Bazemore (SAC) are some names for the tax MLE.

Re-sign Chandler for vet. min. Sign vet min guys that can contribute now (i. e. Dellavedova (MIL))

Wait for R. Bullock and T. Gibson to be waived by NYK and sign them for the vet min, if not wait for a good vet to ring chase and sign them for vet min.

Be active in the buyout market, there is always a good rotation guy available (i. e. M. Morris (LAL))

BRO: Irving/MLE/Dellavedova
Holiday/Bullock
Durant/Hart/Chandler
Gordon/Gibson
Jordan/Birch

BRO boost their defense, if Kyrie needs rest/gets hurt, Holiday can play PG. Bench is a little weak, but starting 5 makes up for it. That said, they will have 150M+ in salaries for 2021, not sure how realistic it is (PHI and GSW are already in that 145+ zone). I'm not a Nets fan, so I don't know what to make of Pinson/Kurucs/TLC/Claxton, can any of them contribute to a championship team right now (10-15mpg)? If they are usefull or have some value let me know.

Doubt ORL trades Gordon for Dinwiddie.

I think there's something that can be built around here, I don't think the money works though.

It sucks that the Brooklyn team that made the play-offs will most likely all be gone soon, Dlo gone, LeVert, Allen and Dinwiddie seem to be on the block.

Take LeVert. 25. I would describe him as, does one thing and only one thing well, score. And does that at 51% TS% -- massively below league average. At 17.5m per year over 3 years, I have him currently as a bad contract and a lot less so All Star potential.

You can also tack on he is always hurt. at best he is nuetral value. best case is to turn him into a more expensive healthier version of what he should be or use philly pick to dump 50-75% of his salary.

he is an awful fit with Kyrie/KD as well

I think this is bad for the Hornets (it just creates more of a glut of players on the roster), and I think at least another late first needs to go in their direction.

While the Nets should probably do the deal, I don't know if I love Holiday on their team. I could see his offensive value really being reduced with a healthy Irving and Durant.

Do you know if cap space drops to around 100M and salary tax threshold drops to around 120M, to keep a $158,912,971 payroll, Nets would pay 130M only in luxury taxes?

The league is going to renegotiate a way of accounting for the drop. They're not going to have 25 of 30 teams paying luxury taxes. Players only get 51% of BRI, so if BRI drops 25-30%, their actual salary will drop a commensurate amount. The league will probably utilize something more in-line with actual salary paid versus contractual salary when determining the tax & team's cap figure. That could also free up cap space for some teams to actually sign FAs.

That's way too expensive for the Nets. Why would they want another older PG with an injury history. If they go for Jrue, it's Dinwiddie, not LeVert in the package.

I wonder if the Nets could be a sneaky Al Horford destination if Philly decides to move on from him this summer. He fits Brooklyn's win now timeline, and is a fit on the court with his playmaking from the high post and ability to space the floor. Brooklyn could play 5 out with Horford/Durant at the 4/5. Additionally, Brooklyn would keep 1 of Jordan/Allen so they would have a rim runner as well.

Does something built around Taureen Prince work? Brooklyn would need to add additional salary, but in theory, Prince gives Philly a 3 and D wing to open up the floor and pushes Harris back up to PF.

I don't see the Nets bringing in a C that will relegate FOKK (Friend of Kevin & Kyrie) DeAndre Jordan to the bench. His unhappiness over not starting was a contributing factor to Atkinson getting fired. Also, spending closed to $40mil at the C position is just nuts. I think the Nets will focus on bolstering their perimeter defense.

Fully agreed. If I was looking at a Brooklyn perspective on a Philly trade it would be Richardson (perfect fit of complementary and defense) >>>>>>>>>>> Tobias (I guess he and Durant could both be 4/3's, and who needs actual defense when you have switchability?
Really feels like a more expensive, more efficient healthy LeVert so a no go imo) >>>>>> Horford (Would have been fine if they didn't have centers, expensive payroll, and other issues). Or basically, Richardson or no thanks.

The guy on Philly that the Nets would/should go all-in on would be Ben Simmons. Philly won't trade him though, especially to a playoff competitor. I'm talking Dinwiddie+LeVert+picks, just about anything Philly would want outside of KD & Kyrie. He fits the Andre Iguodola mold that Brooklyn needs next to KD & Kyrie. He'll take the toughest defensive assignment & can run the offense when Kyrie sits.

Yeah, I was trying to go realistic. Although might as well add Embiid too.

I didn't say it was realistic. Just saying he's the only fit, aside from maybe Harris, that makes sense. I don't see Richardson as much of an upgrade or a great fit.
