I don't think people hate wiseman, they just don't want him on the knicks for obvious reasons. One being we already have a really good young center. He's probably the best big in the draft though.

Ya but some people selling him short comparing him to Deandre Jordan and saying he’s just a rim runner like Mitch. I’m tryna tell y’all he’s much more than that! He’s Bosh with an AD body in my eyes. But y’all will see soon..

I am going to continue my campaign for the knicks to move up to #16 or #17 and grab Patrick Williams. Some mocks have him available at #27 but why risk it?

The Nets wrote about him and they as a fan base and a FO focus on talent that slips. In a class of of strong sophomores and juniors a freshmen like Williams should get notice. He has a strong frame, likely could have scored more at Florida since he looked like the second best player next to Vassell. Also Florida was looking like it was ready to make a run in the tournament. Both he and Vassell would have probably gone higher if they had had that opportunity.

You stick to your guns. But if you want him that badly, then you're going to have to trade up to get him. So, let's hear it.

:o He reminds me physically of Buck Williams so it's interesting that the Nets would hone in on him. He's got an NBA-ready body. He covers a lot of ground in a short amount of time defensively, kinda like Mitch does. FT % is sold at 84%. He's able to put the ball on the floor and put up soft mid-range jumpers with nice arc. He's only shooting 32% on his 3-ball attempts.

Maybe if wiseman was like a 36 percent or better 3 point shooter and wanted to play around the perimeter and shoot a bunch of 3s. But why would you want to use him that way it seems like a waste of his skills. You could just get a stretch 4 to do that

You’re basically saying use him like the mavs use KP

He extends his range to the 3 and you got a really good D&3 Wing who can go in there and maybe hold their own like Draymond does defensively against Bigs. Even without the range he looks like he can be a glue guy and crash the boards well.

It would be interesting to bring him here and try to slot him at the 3/4 with Knox off the bench. That’s a lot of athleticism going at other teams reserves.

Mitch + Frank + Dallas first round pick to Golden State’s pick. Draft wiseman with their pick. Use our other own lottery pick to draft a PG like Hayes/Haliburton.

Deni and Hal are both of the board at that point.....

Then they got us taking Cassius Stanley at #27 ahead of Patrick Williams and Jahmi’us Ramsey......

Truly the darkest timeline...... or they think Mills is still employed with the Knicks.

giannis plays with brook lopez at center who can shoot 3s and other decent shooters, I don't even think giannis would be a great fit with rj and mitch unless RJ improved his shot a little more and mitch uncorked a 3 point shooting ability to help spread the floor for him. You'd want a stretch 5 there. I just don't like that fit. Mitch has been a bench player up until now anyway he can't even get out from behind taj gibson so apparently the knicks don't even like him that much so if they take wiseman they may as well just keep him benched or trade him before he demands it

He plays more minutes than Taj. Taj was given the start because he played better in a lineup of RJ and Randle. Like I understand that Wiseman might be better, but Mitch isn’t a scrub. He could be a better Tyson Chandler and Tyson was a championship Center, All Star, Gold Medal Olympian, and DPOY.

Still down to trade this years pick if we’re offered a 2021 first from a team like Memphis or something. That class has 5 guys who would go #1 in this draft.

Return to New York Knicks
