I got to see his first start too. Too bad I didn't get to see this one... Great performance for the rookie though. Isn't that the first one ever for a Red Sox rookie?

Yes.
"The guy is an idiot," Pedroia said regarding Cabrera. "I dropped my bat. It kind of freaked me out. I was upset they took him out of the game. He is good to hit. He's 9-15. The guy [stinks]."

Anyone feel bad for Oriole fans?
They gave up 30 runs in 1 game 2-3 weeks ago and now they get no-hit.

Every Yankee fan is now hoping Buchholz catches the Bud Smith curse.

And for those of you who don't know who Bud Smith is:

I think total implosion is the right term for Smith.

I was just about to say that. Good God the Orioles are in turmoil.

Philip who?

Best nugget from the night, Buck didn't even have his best fastball. He was throwing a lot of fastball in the high 80s until the 9th when he cranked it up a bit. This kid is already something special and if he builds up his stamina, can learn to really command his fastball, and stays healthy, we are in for a very long sucessful career. mahalo

Bud Smith was never any good so I don't get the comparison other than that Bud Smith lucked into a no-hitter.

Yeah, it gets difficult sometimes. On top of that, I'm a 'Skins fan too, lol.
