Everyone I know in the UK are watching too. Would a documentary about Lebron get this type of viewership? I mean the recency bias would be really strong right?

The worst point has been the last days of march and early april, since then the numbers have been in downhill, especially the new cases.

Thanks God for the lockdown; the economic situation is of course not easy, but it could have been worse without it and with way more deaths and cases.

Since May 4th, some limitations have been lifted, by this monday 18th some others, like many shops reopening.

Of course all with masks and social distancing, as well as more and more testing and serological sampling.

Outside of basketball fans (which in Italy are a lot), Lebron is known by a fair amount of "average people", but light years from Jordan ... in Italy MJ is known even by cows and cats

MJ was the first global basketball star, at a time when social media didn't exist, so there's more mystique about his story. There's more that isn't known about him that people want to know, as opposed to most stars these days that either share everything about themselves, or it's all already known anyway.

The Bulls in the 90's had all these huge moments and so much dominance too, aside from having wild characters connected to the story. LeBron's journey just hasn't been that exciting or interesting, and he doesn't have the same type of story book moments like "the shot."

The last 2 episodes weren't as good and even felt out of place in spots I felt. So much attention was paid to losing to the Magic and then they breezed through sweeping them. Overall there was less emphasis on basketball itself and the episodes suffered.

MJ laughing about Payton locking him and blaming it on "being focused elsewhere" was such bull****, especially with them making a big deal out of winning the title on Father's Day.

Really disappointed in the lack of talk about Kukoc, outside of the Olympics. I remember a ton of hype around him before he got to the Bulls and afterward (like when Jordan retired) and there hasn't been much so far.

The last 2 episodes, along with the sidelining of Kukoc, supports Burns criticism of how the Last Dance was compromised by the control MJ has.

I wonder if this doc will dissuade current and future players in the league to team up and form "Super Teams" in the name of legacy. I don't know, I just think the the arch of a great player's career seems far more interesting when they go through these trials and tribulations in reaching the mountain top, and out of it, a docuseries like this can emerge.

But, I'll say, that it depends on the organizations these players are in as well, in surrounding them with the right supporting cast to be able to reach that brass ring.

Well I'm sure most of his past victims got their kicks watching MJ getting a taste of his own medicine during his wizards years.

MJ was cringey and even comical with the Wiz

He was absolutely delusional his first year but seemed more in touch with reality and dare i say even humble during his second year.
Kobe was merciless when he humiliated him in their last encounter.

Michael and the Wiz were looking great in his 1st season for a significant stretch. They went on a great streak, he found his rhythm, and they were looking very good. I remember even them interviewing Chris Rock Courtside in msg and he was like I can't believe I'm saying it but the Wiz looks like they will win the east.

No one even remembers anymore but right before the all star game, Jordan collided knees with someone and that basically ended his career. He never recovered and was never the same after. He had problems with that knee the rest of that year and all of next season.

I really liked the way the established the series, with a championship run/season, and a character profile of a key player. I mean obviously it's not going to go like that the whole way, but it switched to being a little too MJ oriented in the last few. Like, I wanted to see some more about the 94/95 teams, where in the world is Luc, Kukoc I'd like to hear more from, why does Scottie barely seem like he's on the team at this point, just stuff like that.

Still enjoying it though, just wish they hadn't gone so Michael-centric, because there's no way to avoid it regardless, he was the face of the NBA.

I do like the overall format though as they move through the year with a past season.

I was expecting more footage on how MJ & the Bulls absolutely demolished the Magic, that sweep was ruthless. Hardaway and Anderson were never really the same after that.

For certain people it might be for the better this documentary will end tonight, otherwise I'd fear for their wellbeing. The damage control by some is otherworldly.

I'm honestly sad that this series is almost over. Every episode has been compelling, with tons of people getting their moment to shine. Even the security guard got his spot in the limelight! Regardless of what happens in tonight's episodes, this has already been cemented as my favorite documentary-series to date.
