Dana saying he’s got something special lined up for Masdival, aside from Usman.
Wonder what it is. Probably Nick Diaz or something

Nick or Nate trying to avenge a loss for the other will be a storyline that is driven by the UFC and media, but I couldn't think of something that is more emasculating for a professional fighter.

Who do you guys have between Cringe vs Cruz?

Dillashaw is on record thinking Cruz is too awkward for HC and will beat him.

I’m really interested in this fight, I’m just hoping Dom is healthy.

It's a real interesting fight. Cringe is pretty fast and a great wrestler but he's pretty orthodox in his style. That's exactly the kind of fighter Cruz does well against. I think Cruz takes this but it's hard to know where Cruz is post injury and yeah he's overcome ring rust before in his previous comebacks but at 35 and having been out of the cage for 3.5yrs it's tough to say.

I wouldn't bet on a 35 year old that's been off for almost 4 years, and coming off an ass whooping. That's too long to predict with any certainty how he's been training or aging.

Fights coming up this Wednesday.

No idea how OSP beats Ben Rothwell. Gunna put a little bit of money on that one.

Mcgregor has totally lost it with his recent tweets. Must be on a cocaine trip.

LOL this is like when he pretended he wanted to fight Stipe on short notice. Not going to happen in a million years. But at least his latest criminal behaviors are out of the headlines, replaced by this.

If I were Stipe or Ngannu I’d keep this as a headline. It’s a huge pay day for them, biggest of their careers, and it adds more and more pressure on Jones to come to heavy weight.
He’ll crumble if the media and the big guys start calling him out and then laughing at him if he doesn’t come up.

Jones’ time is coming, without the PEDS he just looks like a really good fighter, not a goat/generational fighter.

Put him in there with Francis.

Maybe that'll knock some **** sense into that dude. Trolling Anthony Smith is a new special type of stupid for Jon but calling out Francis like he won't **** MURK him is Jon officially jumping the shark. I usually stream but I'd pay for that PPV.

Do you guys think Jones lasts longer against Francis than GSP lasted against Matt Serra or nah?

I can't remember his name right now, but Jones is 5000x more likely to fight that Polish guy who fought Jimi Manuwa more times than Jacare fought Camozzi than he is to actually fight Ngannou.

Non-threadworthy MMA Rumors/Quotes/Tweets/Etc., Vol. 5

Post#1198 » by NO-KG-AI » Sat May 16, 2020 4:25 pm

That actually sounds really familiar.. Hopefully he doesn’t go the path of other long time champions, and he moves up at some point.

It sucks seeing a guy talk about moving up, but avoiding doing it while sitting in their already cleared out division.

Nobody should pressure a fighter to fight bigger guys than them. Why would he? He has his hands full enough with the likes of Reyes and Santos without even considering Ngannou.

But then STFU and don't pretend that you want to fight Stipe and Francis though. That's the annoying part. At least he admits he wants no part of DC at heavyweight.

If you make UFC predictions, don't copy Colby Covington, at least until the quarantine is over.
