2019-2020 College/Draft thread (Part 4)

The ideal point guard we want is Lamelo Ball but he is out of our range and even he is still risky. Would rather have Cade Cunningham who would go #1 in this years draft and would try everything possible to get him next year.

Am afraid this is the only draft in the near future where there is a possibility you can trade up from #6 to #1.

And there is no guard in this draft whom I am willing to trade up for.

Would rather try to trade up for Wiseman

Bleacher reports fantasy draft/FA is triggering me.

Trade down from Ball to Haliburton, and Jarret Culver, and take salary to do it. Somehow they get the Pacers pick but both Saddiq Bey and Patrick Williams are gone. So they take Josh Green (pacers pick they never explain how the Knicks get) and Tyler Bey (Clippers pick)

And then they trade RJ Barret and Haliburton and the 2021 Mavs pick for Russel Westbrook.

Why does the media hate us

So instead of Lamelo and RJ they gave us Russell Westbrook and Culver

I know people at BR. They have someone running the Knicks as a satire/joke to do a hyperbolized Isaih-Esq off-season so we can talk about them and gain attention.

Well I'm fine ignoring them then and suggest everyone else do the same

question on Haliburton. i do not follow college basketball much, and was wondering who Haliburton compares to. I am very intrigued by him as a prospect. can a backcourt of Barrett and Haliburton be a future core to build around with Mitch? that I am not sure of. also on Ball, how does he compare to his brother? is he considered a better prospect than Lonzo was when he was coming out? does he have superstar potential?

Haliburton compares the most to Lonzo imo. That’s a major upgrade at point for us so I’ll take it.

I think Lamelo is more talented than Lonzo but has more bust potential. Hard to tell how he’ll pan out.
