Wow, it is going into the story of Steve Kerr's father. Didn't expect that, but a very welcome addition to this series. Such a sad story, but Steve's response when being taunted by opposing fans made me really respect him.

If MJ knew that story he probably never would have felt the need to "test him" during practices.

So great to see this new footage from that last season. MJ at the piano? That was fantastic.

Was it common knowledge that Reinsdorf offered Phil to come back another year, or was that new information towards the end of that doc?

I remember Phil wanted to be GM/coach if he was going to come back.

Would anyone here still like to explain how Jerry Reinsdorf is not, in fact, a cheap bastard?

Ironically, probably not the response his father would have wanted

And Mullin. Was not a good look for them.

They both have that skin tone that won't tan either. They'd just get a sunburn.

I'm one of those lucky white guys that can tan. So my shaved head don't look so bad.

This Doc was great! The memories...

Nice to see Pippen give Krause some credit at the end. Bulls vs Spurs in 99 would have been a senior citizen final at the time with all the veterans on those teams. :P
I wonder if Krause drafted better in some those 90s drafts and reloaded the roster with young talent who were learning the system and how to win behind some of the veterans and named somebody like Bill Cartwright the HC if Jordan would have stayed.

Don't care. Also put his family in grave danger. The previous president was kidnapped, but yeah let's bring my wife and kid here too.

Tremendous ride to re-live that whole era. It was so nice to feel like we were in the sporting world spotlight once again. The docuseries makers did NOT disappoint.

Well, to be fair, it was seen in the last doc he DID try to get Phil back for one more year. He knew one more year started with Phil and Phil said no.
