Every move I made in this past off-season was from the perspective of the SIM. I knew the SIM mods probably had casual BBIQ's, thus would pump up veterans/washed up scrub's stats, so I just ate on them on 1 year deals as I knew I'd blow the team up after this season anyway.

Faried ended up being the jackpot hit. I kept his minutes low all season because I didn't think he can handle a full load, but it's playoffs, so I'm taking him off the bench along with DJJ for a new look.

Here's my new lineup:

PG: Ben Simmons(40) - Trey Burke(8)
SG: Vic Oladipo(40) - Trey Burke(8)
SF: Derrick Jones Jr.(20) - Caris LeVert(28)
PF: Kenneth Faried (38) - Derrick Jones Jr(10)
C: Joel Embiid(40) - Nemanja Bjelica(8)

YOLO might as well take advantage of Faried for the SIM while he's got that anomaly rating.

I think its tempting to want to change things but I would understand it if you can't make the finals.

Tbh, you know how the most fun is in making moves and switching it up. I’ve given the club 2 years with the same core and now KOC is coming with the Pacers so I gotta pivot.

I agree

However I think indy is actually pretty deep (donovan, richardson, luka, zion, kat) 5 players that can log big mins even if the SIM ratings haven't yet caught up to Luka fully and Zion.

Portland/GS is probably the best example. They basically have 2 superstars and not much else vs GS who might have the deepest team in the SIM.

Not really surprising, at the end of the day the Bulls are a top two defense and a top four offense. There's literally not a thing the Pacers have done better than the Bulls in the series. Short of trying something drastic like putting Zion on Leonard, the Pacers don't have an answer for Kawhi. He's probably the best player in the sim. Favors is completely shutting down Towns, perhaps experiment with him at the four.

Pacers need to think outside the box for this series and being down 2 games isn't exactly the ideal time to start really experimenting.

Luka is breaking out in the SIM right now and is playing close to how he is IRL. So I am not sure how much better they are really gonna get. Indiana is a great team but I aint gonna give crown them as the future champions yet :dontknow:
