Per wiretap. This season is a wash for us, but he should be ready to go to start next season.

Pros: It may explain his inconsistent play and hopefully he comes back much better next year

Cons: Timing seems very odd. Not sure why he didn't do this two months ago?
Is it possible this is him saying he doesn't feel comfortable playing this season and risking getting Corona?

That's so disappointing. The guy fought through it during the season only to be overcome by it in the forced hiatus. This season is such a letdown.

And to make it worse, we are dogged by that MJ documentary and now we'll get to relive Game 6 of the 1998 finals in a cinematic fashion :nonono: . Add to that the terrible Conley trade, the way the team has looked, the Gobert-Mitchell feud, and this season is just miserable. Then there's Stren and Kobe passing away, the COVID pandemic, forced shutdown. Ugh... :noway:

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Just end this season already. What else can happen to screw us up even more? Oh just reading Walt Perrin is being hired to the Knicks as an assistant GM. Sure. Jerry Sloan reportedly not doing well, either... that's a **** **** season for the Jazz.

If he was playing this well when hurt, can't wait to see him fully healthy......

Such a disastrous season. Really looking forward to it finally ending and hopefully a major shakeup in the offseason. Not optimistic about that though. My guess is we bring back basically the same team with the exception of Clarkson who signs elsewhere with his replacement being Jae Crowder.

Ha! Now we can move up a few spots in the draft and get Bolmaro or Pokusevski.

I don't think this really affects the Jazz's offseason. Conley was always going to opt in, the Jazz were going to try to re-sign Clarkson, and the Jazz are still one player away from real contention. See if the Jazz offer Favors their MLE.
