And for the brawler thing - i see both GGG and Canelo as technical 'brawlers'.

Rigght...and GGG's best punch is an overhand uppercut.

Despite your inclusion of the word Technical he's not really a brawler. He's more of a technically sound pressure fighter. He's not going to overwhelm his opponents with volume but he hits hard, throws technically sound shots and he's constantly in punching range. That forces his opponents to continuously expend energy reacting to his presence whether by moving away or trying to punch him and keep him away. But he's also more multi-dimensional than most "brawlers". He boxed moving backwards fairly well against Canelo despite being at a major disadvantage with handspeed.
Why rely on nuance, facts and logic when you can bludgeon the other side with mindless repetition of "Duuur McDaniel's has potential :tooth and still be treated as if you were reasonable.

This guy just thinks if you have effective offense you must be brawling.

He also thinks GGG boxes like Tyson, who is - no surprise - a "brawler". Tyson (esp young Tyson) had one of the most technical, defensively-responsible styles in the history of boxing. The opposite of a brawler.

Any suggestions on up-and-coming boxers worth taking a look at? Only seen the big fights the last few years, good time right now to catch up.

 at Conor/Pac.

The funny thing is, I wouldn't mind seeing Pac destroy him. I just don't want to pay for it.

A Charlo with a live opponent, Derevychenko is no joke...massive risk vs reward.

I don't know about Rosario.

Some pretty good fights tonight, finally ! I missed boxing. Pretty good fights to end this year too. i'm waiting on that Gervonta Davis fight

EDIT: The Charlo brothers dominated. I can't believe Charlo knocked out Rosario on a jab to the stomach, I don't think I've seen that one before, Rosario looked like he was going to have a seizure . I don't see nobody in the 154 stopping the smaller Charlo. 160 is a little tougher division I think and the bigger Charlo will have to face Canelo at some point when Canelo stop acting scared. Exciting fighters to watch .

Canelo isn't scared of Charlo. He has faced better boxers in GGG and Jacobson.

Let's see if he makes the weight . Also about time he takes a step up in competition. Santa Cruz is just the level below the very best in the world.

I'm more excited for Lomachenko vs Teofimo and the comeback of Spence Jr when he fights Danny Garcia. That's a tough opponent. Crawford vs Brook is also interesting. Usyk vs Chisora at HW also coming up, would be a good win for Usyk. If he gets past Chisora, one more win should guarantee him a title fight, looking at how he dominated the CW division.

I agree he ain't scared. Jacobs and GGG might be more scary opponents with their KO ratio, but just as a boxer, Charlo is just as good.

Yea Loma is my favorite boxer now so I'm definitely looking forward to his bout with lopez. I think Spence is going to wash Danny, i love Danny but he can't bang with Spence, he's just below the top level fighters but good opponent nonetheless. I don't think Crawford and brook is happening anymore I read it somewhere I can't remember. That will be a good fight tho if it gets done, Crawford finally fights someone that's tough and with a name, I think Brooks is too big for him though but we'll see.

Before the GGG beat down, Brooks was a top 2-3 welter weight.

That version is a 50/50 fight with Crawford. Now, the fight isn't competitive. His best days are way behind him. That GGG fight took years off his fighting prime.

Also, Danny will lose to Spence in UD. But no knockout. Danny has one of the best chins in the division.

Have to see how Spence looks. But if he is at the same level, he should win.

I think Crawford dominates Brook, but it's still the biggest name he has faced at WW - and Brook can punch. But as you said, hopefully Crawford fights one of the top guys next. Spence vs Crawford is ofc the fight everyone wanna see - but i'm happy to see Crawford fight either Shawn Porter og Thurman next. Can't rule out Pacquiao either.
