Somebody named Tony Allen died. Fortunately, it wasn't the ex-Celtic, but a much older guy. A drummer, I think.

I like Miles Turner but I don't love him. I'm not even sure I like him more than what Theis has become, who is under contract for $5 million next year. I'm not ready to just "throw in" Langford because of the thought that he is redundant. Hayward will likely opt in but will qualify to be an UFA after that. With injuries and the all important load management, there will be time to see what Langford can do if he can stay healthy. It is possible there is a time to move away from Hayward, but he is still valuable, especially until Tatum and Brown evolve their game to be better passers.
Don't like the trade

Surprised because the Cs usually do horrible on the 2k simulator.

The sad thing is that I’m actually bored enough to watch a 2k sim right now.

Only six NBA players have averaged at least 20 ppg and 4.8 apg in EACH of the last five seasons -- Curry, Harden, Lebron, Dame, Westbrook, and KEMBA. Happy birthday, Killa!

Still maintain that at some point Kemba is getting that deep playoff run with the Celtics, perhaps even to the finals. This year, next year, the year after idgaf. It's going to happen someday and he deserves it.

I'm willing to wait!

On a side note since the season vanished, I am not upset anymore Kemba did all those minutes as the lead PG in the east at the ASG. Hurting knee or not......you don't always get those opportunities anymore. You sometimes have to grab them while they are there. I am sure he enjoyed that ASG a lot with all that attention.

Our lineup, with Kemba and when healthy, has never lost in the playoffs.

If the Celtics had Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jayson Tatum, and Marcus Smart as their main three guys, can they win a title in the next five years?

Talent is talent of course but I wonder how Stevens would use Giannis. It's difficult for me to see him coming off wing PnR from the "Horns" sets. Stevens offense is so predicated on scoring coming primarily from the ballhandlers and wings. Giannis obviously can handle but would he incorporate Giannis like that. My answer to your question is "I don't know". Giannis is Giannis but I don't know if he'd be the same Giannis in Boston.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!
