So glad that Pineapple Pete/Jericho match wasn’t competitive. PP’s whole presentation just looks awful: skinny fat, generic gear, awkward mannerisms. Not a fan.

There were people on Reddit who were really hoping Pineapple Pete would win. Uh...what? Not only would that deflate a lot of heat for Jericho coming into a PPV match, but what exactly would that accomplish?

I know Jericho puts over anyone, almost to a detriment back in his WWE days where was eating clean pins against Heath Slater during NXT in 2010, but if you're going to that, at least put over someone who has a bright future.

Pineapple Pete is nothing special, he's been in the indies for awhile so I'm glad he got his shine and opportunity. I am so glad they didn't draw out the match and give Pete any near falls, they gave him a couple punches and a Judas Effect. Jericho tears of the shirt and focuses on the bigger and more important feud. Absolutely perfect booking for myself.

Can someone start a petition to get Marko Stunt off TV or at least out of matches ? It looks silly that he’s in there with these guys week after week. The women are bigger than him, why not have them wrestle the guys at this point ?

Too bad Billy Gunn’s son wouldn’t shut up and almost entirely ruined the whole thing with his obnoxious noises in the crowd. Pick your spots to boo/cheer, not constant annoyance.

This, though i suspect this may be building up to poor Austin Gunn getting brutalised by dark order and/or being converted to join their ranks (cause he sure isn't going to be a major player to start off with, may as well bring him in via a faction).

I know the go home shows right before the the PPV are supposed to be great, but I wouldn’t mind if they did less matches because there was some serious close calls.

Ray Fenix and Orange Cassidy need to give every person in that ladder match an earful. Absolutely no one came to catch either of them; but at the same time Fenix fell short, and OC overshot off the catapult. Man those were some brutal spots, I’m glad they panned to Spears with his reaction, I felt the same, hands on my head like wtf...

Fenix/OC was a really entertaining match, OC had some super smooth counters. I’m a big fan of Fenix, just so many amazing spots he can pull off.

Also Britt Baker’s knee is toast. What an awful spot that was, it was so pointless. Let’s pick up Nyla and suplex her onto a sitting opponent. If you want that spot I rather see the lightest person in the match be thrown on the the heaviest. Not the other way around.

It was so unsafe and even if they pulled it off, it would have added nothing to the match. Really upsets me because Baker was one of my favourite characters and she’s been on fire... this just ruined her momentum entirely.

She’s going to be out for a long time, imo.

Also, hangman running full length to clothesline Hager, I loved that haha. Sammy made Matt look really good, sold all his moves to make him look dangerous. I’m okay with Sammy eating the pin because Matt already lost last week, you can’t have the IC win both matches and then make the PPV an obvious result.
