Witnesses told police that Giants CB Deandre Baker and Seahawks CB Quinton Dunbar had "getaway cars pre-positioned outside the residence in a manner that would facilitate an expedited departure" in Wednesday's alleged armed robbery.

A witness also alleged that Baker “pointed a gun at him and he was in fear for his life.” Baker is also accused of telling a third assailant to shoot someone else. Another witness told police that Baker and Dunbar had lost "about $70,000" at a party two nights prior, hinting at a potential motive for the alleged armed robberies. These are serious, serious accusations, the kind that can disrupt or halt careers.

they lost $70k at a party? as in misplaced or was it stolen from them?

what would be the reason for bringing that much money in the first place?

The NFL owners agreed to lend the Rams another $500 million for SoFi Stadium.

Same. Rams owner Stan Kroenke has been pushed to the limit by his monstrous development in Los Angeles. His request for $500 million in additional stadium financing was granted, but it's unclear if the "doubling of the amount of time typically required to pay the money back" was also passed. The COVID-19 pandemic was horrendous timing for Kroenke, although it's hard to feel too bad for someone reportedly worth $10 billion. The Rams' financial issues have even spilled over to football operations as they have been late on payments to a couple of players, including Todd Gurley. This sizable loan should get them through any short-term issues. They will, however, need Angelenos to fill the stadium when it's opened to the public.

Lol. Wait till the Chargers show up with their 3 people to help fill the Stadium. Which is why i mentioned early on in the Draft thread. It was a mistake in not going for Tua. They need to fill seats

The 29-year-old Hyde is an experienced back who’s coming off one of the best seasons of his career. He rushed for over 1,000 yards on 245 carries with the Houston Texans

I expect resolutions on Clowney, Yan, and Griffen around July. There’s no real incentive signing now.

I dont know how Hyde will be once a seahawk. But sometimes, timing is everything. I remember this one runningback, forgot his name, but used to play for cincy bengals. Said to be old and washed. Then belichek picked him up at the right time, and he turned out fantastic for them. Sometimes, timing maybe right

3 minority owners of the Redskins want out and wish to sell their shares. I guess Daniel Snyder is still in the running as the worst owner in the NFL.

Or they don't want the name to change.

It was my understanding those 3 minority owners wanted to change the name three years ago.

NFL players over the weekend looking for more clarity from the NFL when it comes to corona virus. Wonder if anyone has bothered to look into the model Australia has been using. They have been playing rugby over there for about 7 or 8 weeks now.
