If seeding is regardless of standing in conference, then we still get the Sixers in the 1st round (Pacers win head-to-head tiebreaker against Sixers).

1-16: Bucks vs. Magic
2-15: Lakers vs. Nets
3-14: Raptors vs. Grizzlies
4-13: Clippers vs. Mavericks
5-12: Celtics vs. Sixers
6-11: Nuggets vs. Pacers
7-10: Jazz vs. Rockets
8-9: Heat vs. Thunder

EDIT: LOL then most likely Clippers in the 2nd round.

So playoff draw would be Sixers >>> Clippers >>> Bucks >>> Lakers/Raptors?

Only seems fair that the team with the 5th best record would have to beat the three best teams to win a title.

**** that, lol.

If they give into that system, it shows Laker bias (what's new  ) because their road is absurdly easy

Would probably be Sixers, Raps, Bucks and Lakers/Clips anyways.. So not much changes for us besides a tougher 2nd round.

Of course the Cs still get the sixers in the first round lol. Normally I would like this set up but with how difficult this is for the celtics, and how easier it is for the Lakers, not sure I am a fan of this.

This is not the reaction players need to show. It comes off as selfish. When you’re saying that you will be with the team, but not play ,you are not showing fear of the virus. Instead it shows contempt for having to do your job when you don’t want to.

As much as the sixers are a **** match up for us, I’m curious to embiid’s conditioning After no workout for 2+months and him notorious for not having a great diet. I’ll tell u what tho if the clips/celts game r like the regular season that will be sick to watch

I was thinking the exact same thing. He posted a pic of himself at the practice facility with a caption saying that quarantine workouts weren't easy, with him sprawled out on the floor looking gassed. We'll find out soon enough.

I heard a proposal where 20 teams enter a tournament style 1st round of playoffs. And after playing 8 games each within their group, the top two teams advance to the 2nd round.

If they do it snake-style, our group would arguably be the toughest -- SAS (16), DAL (13), PHI (12), LAC (5), BOS (4).

I think that they have it a little wrong. -- 4 groups of 5 each, seems more realistic.
That way, 8 teams (4 x 2) move into the 2nd Round.

You are right. Don't mind the reply you posted from NFLGM. It's 4 groups of 5 teams each. Only 8 teams advance to the 2nd round.

Wow. Family members don't seem like a necessary element to this, given the circumstances.

No way you'd get them to go without their families. No way.

Really? I mean, Everybody can't bring family, though.
That would be like 15-17 Family.

Just trying to figure how they would get down to an entourage of only 35?

This is starting to sound bizzare, now late July/early August? Keep kicking the can down the road?

I mean hey if the Celtics are on tv I am going to watch with you guys. I just kind of have to see it to believe it at this point too.

Sixers are not a good shooting team either. And typically just dominate IN PHILLY. So......might not be horrible.

On the flip side how will the Celtics shoot? We can take time to get warmed up as well.

Screw the Sixers. If we bow out if this thing happens thats the last team we can lose to.

Yeah. That is getting really late.
I mean, it's the end of May. How long do they need, to get back in shape?
