 You really rounded up numbers

Culver averaged 18.7 ppg 6.4 rebounds 3.7 assists. You really consider that flirting with triple doubles? I’m weak

rounded down rebounds  (as anyone rounding numbers would properly round numbers)

malcolm brogden by that logic flirts with triple doubles in the NBA on a nightly basis.

obviously frank is the the one without much sauce.

i aimed to annoy as many people as possible with this post. hopefully it worked. good day gentlemen.

the frooters are trying to steer us unto frooting again, they only want to draft lanky wingspan defensive guys like mikal frank culver and haliburton

not this time frooters mmm no no no

you know what, you just hit on something. they do want to draft the same guy every year. wow.

yep and that's why I started calling him Haliburtkina to help drive this point home. It just seem ludicrous to draft another guard that needs to develop as a creator. Guy's don't completely transform who they are as players, they just become better versions of themselves. If you're okay with your point guard not being able to create off the dribble that's cool but don't be shocked if were in the bottom half of the league offensively.

Reading back towards the ends of the last thread I’m Surprised y’all don’t like obi, who the heck do y’all feel comfortable taking?

So many divided opinions usually their is a guy in the draft the majority agree on lol but not this one

Brandin Podziemski |Ayo Dosunmu | Shead
Devin Booker | Isaac Okoro | Dru Smith
Demar Derozan | Harrison Barnes | Highsmith
Karl Towns | Jabari Smith Jr

it's kinda weird how we don't talk about some of them more, like anthony edwards for example

We’re focused on team needs like PG’s and PF/Wings. If we went BPA we would be talking about Wiseman and Edwards more

Edwards would still be my 2nd guy off the board. He has his flaws but a lot of upside too. He could fit with RJ. We'd still need a PG though.

example, if the pistons won the lottery and we were 2nd and the pistons lock in on lamelo and don't want to trade, I'd go edwards at 2

Him not being strong enough to defend Azibuike on the inside has nothing to do with being stiff. Azibuike is strong as a bull and a force inside and he would foul out a guy like Mitchell Robinson by halftime. Nobody at the 4 is going to be giving Obi those type of problems in the NBA. If you play him full time at the 5 he can run into those issues but if you play him along side a shotblocker he wont struggle in those situation. The other part of his weakness was he gambles for steals. Ok? And? Like I said before, when you go watch his success in those situations when he's grabbing pick 6 type of steals in transition it's looked at as a positive. Again, none of what you are talking about has been highlighted though.

Mitch would eat azibuike for lunch brah. bones and all. Mitch hangs with embid, azibuike strong for college folk he's proven nothing at the pro level yet.

Mitchell Robinson cannot guard Embiid. Mitchell Robinson used to get abused in practice by Enes Kanter. Robinson can only guard guys with limited scoring ability like Deandre Jordan and Jarrett Allen and those types. Any big with any sort of offensive skills has given him trouble.

As a rook, Mitch guarded Embiid as well as just about any center could ...or a the very least he certainly held his own and made him work:

Even Embiid gave him props for his length, movement, and overall potential...

I believe Mitch is severely underrated.

Unless my general sense is off I feel like most fans accept that even if he isn't a perfect fit LaMelo makes the most sense for us when you factor in upside and positional need. Maybe I'm wrong but that's the consensus I get from Twitter, Knicks podcasts, and Real GM.

IDK how you can watch an Anthony Edwards game, outside of the raw scoring numbers, and be like "yep that's what I want to invest a top 3 pick in"

Everybody dances around it because of the physical tools and flashes but the kid is dumb as rocks on the court. The amount of times you watch him and you can tell he just has no idea what he's doing or where to be is so troubling and won't fly in the NBA. Currently, whether we want to admit it or not, the Knicks don't have the infrastructure to nurture that specific kind of talent. ANd it shows up everywhere in the stat sheet. His FG% should be way higher than it is given his proficiency inside the arc and his TO's are way higher than they ever should be. Just consider me not a fan.

I'm honestly way more confident that Halliburton will be a way better player simply off of pure IQ.
