Next season would have been the “bomb” for Jayson. Sky is the limit with this kid. Elite on offense and defense already at this stage. Something that Luka or Trae doesn’t have. He and Jaylen could be the next MJ and Pip!

I love this Brown family story.

https://www.bostonglobe.com/2020/05/18/sports/jaylen-browns-quarantine-trainer-is-his-78-year-old-grandfather-who-sparred-with-ali/

-- It turns out that Jaylen's Dad is a second-generation boxer.
-- Paw-paw was 79 years old and living alone during the pandemic, so Jaylen asked him to come help him train, as the hook to get Paw-paw to join a family member.
-- Paw-paw, who's a former marine and a former sparring partner for guys like Ali and Frazier, has been emphatically helping his grandson train. :)
-- I presume from all this that Jaylen has been very rigorous about social distancing, because otherwise there's no way he'd feel bringing Paw-paw into his home was doing the old man a favor.

Cool -- boxing and basketball training are probably the best fits for each other when it comes to cardio -- but who else was in there videoing that?

Well, Jaylen probably has female companionship of some kind ...

I do know he was living with his paw-paw, brother, and mom in Georgia (mentioned in his GQ interview). So the video might have been shot there? Or did he bring his family over to Boston recently? Unsure.

Only once before in franchise history -- 1966-67 season with Sam Jones, John Havlicek, and Bailey Howell.

I don't think Baker is allowing them to open.

If the games do start on July 31st, let's say they go straight to playoffs, the Finals would most likely be around mid September. Let's say you get a Boston x Lakers or Clippers x Lakers series in the finals..how tempted would the NBA be to move those games out of Orlando to play with a crowd? Maybe half the arena or something..not likely obviously, but I do wonder how tempted they would be to get some fans in on those games..specially if the number of Covid cases are on a steady decline by then..
WHAT THEY GON’ SAY NOW? ‎ THANK YOU TRUTH!

They're likely going to get to 70 games.
But, without a Vaccine, they just can't risk a live fanbase.
