The NBA will hold a vote of the Board of Governors on Thursday.

The owners are expected to approve Adam Silver's recommendation on a format to restart the 19-20 season in Orlando.

Silver met with the Board of Governors on Friday and discussed four separate return-to-play scenarios.

The current target date for the season to resume is July 31st.

Only 16 will accept and of those only ten-ish will field complete rosters and of the ten-ish teams, only half will be worth watching. Final Four will be Bucks, Lakers, Heat and Clippers. Lakers will win the tournament that 85% of America will ignore.

Am i the only one who thinks that group play is the best format.Top 4 teams pick 1 team from each group each group you would have 5 teams you play each team 2xs n the best 2 records from each group advance to the final 8.Then in 2nd round you either then go to the 1-8 2-7 etc format or you have the top 2 teams from each group play eachother in best of 7 am i wrong to think that would work out perfect
